I am enjoying this story so much! I'm not sure if this is the appropriate means of conveying some grammatical errors I found so please forgive me if it is not. I found only a few.

"whom I am gradually becoming acquainted with" (you already have with before this phrase.)

ceased my please on my friend's behalf. (Pleas)

out of instinct, after years of of habit. (Delete second of)

At first glance, they may appears as if they are of two entirely different (appear)

Heavy thoughts. I will attend a churching and baptism in the near future. This is all so real and pertinent.
EmlynMara chapter 34 . 3/22/2024
Good heavens. Lydia is beyond dreadful. I had hoped her mother might change, but apparently not really.
Lovely Kitty had such a nice time in London.
Sooty85 chapter 35 . 3/22/2024
I remember my Gran and my Mum talking about being ‘churched’, it seems it’s not done anymore - at least I haven’t heard of it happening for a very long while.

The Christening was good, but I will never understand why Louisa picked Mrs Bennet to be a God mother. I’m sorry but picking her is a huge mistake.
She is and was a lousy mother, she only cared for herself, Jane and Lydia above all others. Her behaviour was often cruel, affected, loud and often obnoxious. As a mother she was a complete failure.
Her actions in making Jane ride in the rain to Netherfield caused a fragile Jane to become ill with a fever which then shortened her life.

Louisa should have just stuck with Lizzy and Bingley. Or had Kitty or Charlotte.

The sooner Darcy returns to take Lizzy and Georgie away from Meryton the better. They’re able to exchange letters, which is helping with their separation a little.
Hopefully Kitty will leave with Wickham soon as well, for their own sake.

Lovely chapter!. Brought tears to my eyes!
Sooty85 chapter 34 . 3/22/2024
So Mrs Bennet didn’t keep her anger at Lydia for long did she ?
She and Lydia are both vile humans, and without a shred of class or dignity between them. At least Mr B is being steadfast in curbing Lydia’s behaviour.
I hope the boarding school he's picked for Lydia is in an isolated area and is very strict. She needs her appalling behaviour to be squashed and squashed hard. She needs to stay there for years until her remaining sisters are well away and safe from her venomous existence. It’s a shame Mrs B can’t go with her, or to a dower house grr !

I’m glad Kitty is so happy, I keep waiting for the penny to drop and for Wickham to show us his usual self, although it seems obvious now that thankfully for Kitty, that Wickham is not the man he was in canon !
Levenez chapter 34 . 3/22/2024
Thank you fornthe new chapter. Good of Bennet to act!
Kingskid chapter 35 . 3/22/2024
Interesting to read the different liturgies if a bit difficult to understand. But should it not be anglican (not catholic as was mentionned at one point) and should the vicar not say "she" when he talks about the babe? Same at the funeral.
LoveAndFaith chapter 35 . 3/22/2024
Good chapter.
LoveAndFaith chapter 34 . 3/22/2024
Way to go Mr. Bennet.
Elias7 chapter 35 . 3/22/2024
Beautiful chapters. I hope Lydia is sent off to school, her behavior should demand it!

Life moves on even as we grieve the ones gone too soon
