This has been an amazing story to read, and I'm definitely reading the sequel cause I need MOAR VALSTRAX!

This is absolute fire man , this shit burned down my house from how good it was . The way you set up the characters was great ! Seeing the early hints from the guild's corruption with the G-rank hunter , or how you made all of Valen's training with Nikki pay off with the Valstrax fight ,and some other things that I probably could not articulate correctly , were great . To be frank I did thing this was going to devolve into smut at one point , it would have been an easy choice , but I'm glad you didn't , because that way you could focus more on actually setting up the plot instead of wasting several chapters with only smut . That ramble aside , are we going to see the tetsucabra guy again ? I remenber seeing you describe him as having something off with him ? Wonder if he's appearing in the sequel story .

For those wondering about a new update: I simply deleted the sequel announcement chapter (I put it at the bottom of chapter 20), and FFN considers a deleted chapter as an update...
So yeah sorry for those I got hopes up.

Researchers and Biologist would worship him for this .Chance interact with Elder dragon and not get eaten or have region suffer from a Natural Disaster walking .

To encounter friendly Elder dragon ,to be able study a living specimen up close and personal with fear of death .

Loved that speech at the end! I hope at some point the New World hunters can come to accept Nikki as Valen's friend. Sure, there will always be trigger happy hunters, but the majority seem like honest people who can actually think.

What a way to close off the story. While hunting career is troubled, a chance still lies in the new world.
How will they fit into side picture while THE sapphire star with handler, palico go through their part. Do they interact at times and pump into eachother while out and about.

How does Nikki fit and what of the Nergigante.

Seems like Valen is in deep trouble and will be probably considered as the agressor along with Adem. If corruption does linger in the guild then its possible with the loss of hunting life (, or something worse like banishment, execution? or who knows).
Who knows, meybe Nikki has to come to the rescue and bail out of this while risking her own life in some way.

As for discord server, it would be interesting to join and chat. Give thoughts of story so fa, potential ideas and sum more (meybe ideas of side storyes for Nikki. About her life, why help Valen?, her motive ect )

Looking forward to the last chapter to the story and its sequal.

I can only imagine Valen having to face off against the Seregios now. Either the trauma of seeing it will get him in trouble, or he'll kill the thing with little issue. He's come a long way from where he was.

I like those bits of lore you tossed in. From what I've gathered, you're right, there isn't that much world building lore out there. Sure we know a good bit about the monsters in every game, but since that's the main focus, there are other areas that could use some attention.

Those other hunters are definitely going to be a problem in the future... Good thing Valen's got good gear in the making.
