Reviews for Imagination
pincho chapter 26 . 6/13
Fun! Some items you could tell where the author lost steam, like poor Beth just disappeared. Hermione and Neville were more after thoughts than full members of the story. But it was all entertaining nonetheless!
kerly chapter 1 . 6/13
I have read (more than once may I add), favorite and followed all your stories; and I have found each and every one of them absolutely delightful. You are without a doubt one of my favorite FanFiction writers . I love your writing style and the your ability to create a fantastic world within an already fantastic world, enhancing the magic of the characters to new levels . Thank you for the stories and I hope the writing muse keeps blessing you with inspiration.
charicelfourre1984 chapter 26 . 5/23

Soraslove chapter 5 . 5/17
I wish someone cursed dumbles in the canon.
Soraslove chapter 1 . 5/17
I don't understand why this version of harry is in gryffindor? He's the anti-thesis of the obnoxious, loud party type of person, not to mention he's intelligent in this story unlike in the canon. I know hermione likely asked for gryffindor cause she's very easily manipulated by books and authority figures; but harry completely different... not very logical.
magocrat777 chapter 26 . 5/16
I loved each chapter of this piece. Great fanfiction!
magocrat777 chapter 5 . 5/15
A bit terrifying but incredible? borderline but incredible new concept.

fraewyn chapter 26 . 5/3

Lawhai chapter 6 . 4/26
For two whlle fucking years I've been devouring every single HP fanfiction I could find (that didn't have certain bullshit tropes or inane pairings or whatever) and this is literally the first time I've read a story where Harry has the idea, and probably makes, an smaller to the Marauder's map before knowing about it.

It's been bugging the heck out of me, the Marauders made the damn thing in school, why, in the sea of 'actually smart Harry' fanfiction does he never come up with the idea himself.

I admit, for most Harrys it doesn't actually make much sense for him to even think the idea could work, or come up with it on the first place but literally none? I think I've read a grand total of TWO stories where he even recreates or iterates on the idea but even then that happens after knowing about it.
Lawhai chapter 2 . 4/25
Spell chaining? I demand spell Gatling.
Digital Genie chapter 26 . 4/17
Wassup!

Having read your absorbing story Imagination, I really love the way you narrate it. I’m really curious how long have you been writing stories? The way you’ve conveyed the narrative so professionally, drawing the reader into a world of pure imagination, is honestly an incredible skill. The scenes were absolutely amazing! I truly believe it has the potential to reach a wider audience as a comic and also I'll provide you some custom character's from the story as a gift. It would be an honour to reformat your story into a can check my work on Twitter (X) to get an idea of quality and representation. Since I am a commission artist,It will be an honour for me if we could work together. This is just a request and suggestion I hope you don’t mind.

I devoured this! What a fantastic story! Marvelously woven plot and spectacular concept! I especially loved the last bit of the epilogue, as I play tabletop as well!

Thank you, for a most excellent adventure and incredible journey
Guest chapter 12 . 4/8
In answer to your question: Gary Stu is the male equivalent of Mary Sue. In other words, a male character that is too strong, or too smart, or just has it too easy in general, and thus it is definitively a bad thing. Does your Harry have some of this? Yes, yes he does. The ease of access to things he otherwise should not have (direct connections to soul magic for dealing with the horcrux without knowing any actual spells for it, immediate understanding of the magical battery orb, capacity to scan for empty spaces beyond what his eyes can see, five years of specialized education in three weeks with only an effing fridge to show for it while simultaneously stating that said fridge earned him an O, granting access to his magic with the sorting hat just because he wanted it) is a very clear demonstration of Gary Stu-ness. Unfortunately it doesn't end there. Circumstances favoring a character because of deus ex machina (the hat summoning the spirits of the founders with a golem completely immune to magic including environmental magic is lot to swallow, especially because there was no foreshadowing and it was immediately in Harry's favor. However, that's nothing compared to the egregious disregard for the villain of the story by remote magic from Harry granting power to Poppy and by the complete disregard for Voldemort being a spirit by him being unable to flee from the unconscious Quirrel) is another potential feature of Gary Stu-ness.

I have seen worse, which is part of the reason I'm writing this review after reading 12 chapters instead of 3. However, I may not be able to finish reading the story if voldemort doesn't make an appearance at some point as an actually powerful villian that causes actual damage and trauma to Harry. Conflict that requires actual sacrifice and not merely hard work is one of the most important things in stories. Hopefully yours will have some.
