Reads like a police officer's report. I recommend the author search for fiction writing and storytelling to learn the basics of writing stories. No matter how good the plot is, and no matter how accurate the grammar, storytelling is a skill that needs acquiring.

I think you should explain a little more about what you mean baktj Daphne and her sister being offered up as collateral. To who? Against what exactly? You speed over that a bit too fast. Can't tell if they're being threatened or if Daphne's father is pretending to sell out his two daughters to the Delacours, for some reason, to help Daphne build trust with Fleur. The whole thing needs to be explained a bit more, we only know what you've written.

First of all, getting time to write by losing your job is not the best way to go but I'm sure it wasn't your choice. Employment figures have been pretty good so I hope you lose some time for writing soon. :)

You have left us dangling about Lucius but this seems to be a roundabout way to protect Harry. Can't they just get a Potter ring for him? On the other hand, this makes Harry a (mostly) lucky guy. :) Having someone that shrewd on your side is (mainly) a good thing.

I am enjoying this story. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Lucius’s situation. The Betrothal Contract sounds interesting and intense. I wonder how Harry will respond to it.

I didn't turn off PM notifications, the site did. They claim their emails are being rejected again after I fixed it. For now, I've given up and check for messages. I haven't gotten one from you in quite a while. The last one I see is March 1. Have you sent a PM since?

This chapter tells me that Harry is in for interesting times. He'll have to be very careful with his in-laws and might even have to keep an eye on Daphne too. Love may make her kind towards him but she may have plans he won't be happy with. On the other hand, Lucius is at the mercy of two very conniving minds and has very good reason to dread his fate. That part I like. :)

I like the way you are building how oaths and contracts work. It's interesting and disturbing at the same time and one of the reasons I never wanted to become a lawyer.
