Cool chapter. I liked. But I noticed a few inaccuracies in your chapter.
1) Sun is personally acquainted with Jaune. They even played in the same musical group. However, Pyrrha might not have known about it.
2) Sun chose Bacon because of the advice of the Guitar Cuty. In chapter 37, when choosing between Haven and Beacon, he chose Haven because Jaune thought it would be nice if Sun made friends with Nora and Ren in Vale.
P.S. Is it my imagination, or have Ozpin's worst assumptions come true? Soon there will be a guitarist glorifying human vices and the goddess Grimm. What a horror.)))

I've got to be honest Couer. This is why no one believes you at any attempt to claim Arkos.

I think the site ate my other review talking about this. But this kind of last minute out of blue asspull is what hurt Service with a Smile and why no one thinks Rise is any kind of Arkos. Hell even White Sheep was kind of a last-minute footnote. Pyrrha is in the clear, has the motivation, Jaune is even the one to try and take the step when someone or something come barreling out of the woodwork that is completely out of left field and makes little to no sense.

Such as one of the Malachite twins out of nowhere.

Sure, there was quest and this kind of interruption was completely out nowhere. But then Jaune and Tyrian confirm that Tyrian had absolutely no prior knowledge of Jaune. Tyrian just got insanely lucky. The kind of luck that is an act of god. Or an Author Ex Machina.

Again, sure there was supposed to be a kind of interruption and sure Tyrian and Jaune's exchange is great. But the whole thing reads like it was supposed to happen another way entirely and it was inserted here kind of haphazardly.

I would have honestly believed another criminal organization making a surprise hit because of how upset the politicians were and the quest having more or less triggered more because of Pyrrha's decision. That would have been more in line with how the quests activate.

I mean he's got TWO quests aimed at sleeping with Pyrrha. The system is clearly in favor of it even if it's you meta poking at Jaune for being dense. Don't think I haven't forgotten that BOTH triggered around her. Even if this story is more set up for Harem because of Bards and "Proclivity At Seducing Everything Around Them".

Other than that, the chapter is fairly solid. And even through the transition into Jaune's 'Deal with the Devil' is haphazard and poorly done, the exchange between them IS well done and absolutely in character for both of them. Even with this being a silly story it's believable for this context.

I assumed the “thing that’d ruin pyrrha’s party” would be her asking Jaune out only for him to decline her and say that he already has a girlfriend-ish in Vacuo. To be fair I like not reading that kind of thing, but the sudden romantic attraction Jaune has seems out of nowhere and Meera never being mentioned makes it seem like she was accidentally forgotten about.

My god, you couldve called this Jaune gets bugs bunny powers and have the exact same story. In all seriousness these are some crazy rizz feats
