By far one of my favorite stories from your modern selection! A lot of goofiness and slapstick really go a long way.

It's started off a little weak in the characterization department with Roman's idiocy but luckily he gets a little wiser (and arrogant) in the later chapters. Neo was also pretty fun, even if she didn't a lot of focus on the latter half of the story. Her relationship with Roman was a riot, with their constant bickering and messing with each other.

Ruby being the buttmonkey was unexpected, given that you don't feature her as a prominent character in a good number of your stories. Still welcome though!

Still, the story isn't safe from some issues. Roman's earlier characterization was kind of grating ar times, Bart barely got to interact with our *dashing* thief and the Wyvern suddenly disappearing after taking down Ironwood's airship are just a few. But overall the story was still enjoyable enough despite these.

I wish you would put the same level of care you put into this fic for your future ones, cause it was a blast!

A story with Lisa Lavender as the MC would be a nice thing to switch things around a bit

It's fics like this and Arcanum that make me wish that, Coeur had more verity in protagonists: a spy/crime thriller staring Blake or Emerald, a fic inspired by kun fu movies staring Yang or Mercury, a fall from grace and into insanity story staring Ruby, etc. The show has a large selection of characters to play around with. Consider writing a story with a character you rarely if ever write as the protagonist after sister complex or another story completes, as a exercise if nothing else.

From my observations of the FNDM, jaune is a lot like cilantro, you either like him or you despise him with every fiber of your being (bit of a exaggeration but I'm sure you get the point).

This was a fun story, especially the dynamic Roman had with both Ruby and Neo. Sister Complex sounds super interesting too, and I look forward to it (just like every story you write)!

This is definitely your best work in my opinion. I always smile when reading each chapter. Extra kudos.

You never miss, Coeur. I sat down and binged this in one shift, I love fanfics on supporting characters instead of the series' main cast, and Roman is one of my favorites. Shame he got eaten and all, I'd have loved to have seen him survive, and then he and Neo getting wrapped up somehow in the Atlas arc? Ooh boy.

This was an amazing story Coeur, thank you for always writing these. Torchwick and Neo are easily my favorite characters so I'm always happy to see them in your stories, and this take on them was super funny. I also can't wait for the new one you're making, it sounds like it's gonna be hilarious.

Cinder as an older sis, huh. So like Grimm Jaune's dynamic with Cinder but more focused on them than Jaune being Salem's son. Nice. It'd be funny if smol Emerald, or just plain Emmy, is always super jelly of how close Cindy is to her little bro.

And he survives to strike again, stealing our very hearts (Lisa's, especially) in a grand finale, that promises the adventures of the Daring Thief Torchwick continues on for many years to come. I like it. The Second Torch burns brightly indeed.

Great story, very hilarious. Always wonderful to see Cinder get her come-uppance, and being out-witted by a gentleman thief and crushed under an airship are top notch humiliation. Too many running gags to count (both as a standalone and as part of your greater works), can't wait to see what you're cooking up next with this Sister Complex story. Should be just as entertaining.

I'm not sure about that Lisa. If Ruby found out she'd just quit chasing Roman, maybe even retire from being a huntress since she's a laughing stock now.
