Doesn't Ron want to be an Auror, too? Why didn't he take N.E.W.T. Potions? McGonagall said that all the Gryffindors in that class had passed. Hm...I guess I'll find out later.

I loved the lessons. I never thought of Summoning Moody's eye; nifty trick, there. Nice theory section with Kingsley Shacklebolt, too.

"The position had a reputation as bad as Hagrid's rock cakes." Wonderful comparison. Too bad the Latin position at my school has a similar reputation. I wonder who the DADA teacher will be for this year?

I just have one thing to pick on. When Hermione first sees and hugs Harry, either Lupin or McGonagall (probably McGonagall, I think) tells her to "let him breath." This is really a pet-peeve of mine; it annoys me to no end, personally, though it's not much of a mistake at all. It should be "let him breathe."

Anyway, I love the dialogue in this one. Personally, I either ship Harry with Ginny or with no one at all, but hey, H/Hr is fine with me if you do it well (which I'm sure you will), and I like your philosophy on the romance. I'm looking forward to the rest.

Yay! OWL scores! I liked your interpretation of Moody, as well as the bit of theory behind wands. Is this going to come into play later at all?

I also love Harry's new-found determination in the whole "kill Voldemort, hopefully without dying in the process" thing. Yay! Another great chapter.

Hehee...I loved that. I liked Harry's confusion in the beginning; the "who are you?" to his aunt was precious. I was half-expecting Moody to blast through the door and Stun the household, for fear Death Eaters had come in...

And the: "And make sure you don't go losing a buttock now, they make a charming little pair." I laughed out loud at that, and the following lines; my brother now thinks me mad, snickering to myself, but it was worth it.

I must admit I was skeptical about this fic at first; I am that way about a lot of the post OOtP fics at the moment. I am loving this so far, though. I suppose I wasn't the only one who wasn't quite satisfied with Dumbledore's explanation at the end of book 5, and, although it's a lot to take in in one go, this slightly-long explanation took very good care of a bunch of issues. I love your ideas; Harry's characterization has been done to a T, Dumbledore, Remus, even the Dursleys all seem very real.

I love the last line: "...Dumbledore's other arm had came around fully to pull Harry in for an embrace from a Headmaster who had just shared the burden of the world with a barely sixteen year old boy." Wonderfully done; it shows Dumbledore's human-ness and Harry's burden at the same time.

I know I'm nowhere near done with all you've written so far, but just wanted to drop you a line-er, review-to say it's great, thus far. I'm off to chapter 6...

go harry, it's your birthday...or the day after...he gets hermy in bed, settles stuff with ron, yet blows off diagon alley and a chance to see a new broom to train against voldemort. i love this story.

I am thinking that something very important happened with Harry saying he trusts the goblins... and once again Ron is a Prat!

I love your Fic.. It's just as I imagine the next Hp Book... I love Hr/Hg and that is one of the things that makes me keep reading... I'm looking Forward to read more.. Keep Writing...

Anyway i think your story is like book 6 of the trilogy! Its great stuff! One, harry doesnt get all too powerful SUDDENLY, he isnt dumbledores grandson or whatever...the way you weave your story is just great!

Quite alright h/hr scenes, pls dont break the h/hr ill cry if ya do...oh and i cant wait for the meeting and all, i wanna see him finally beating moody! (other than the time he reflected moodys own curse!)

I can see where you're coming from. Hermione is an intelectual and Ron is a chode. It just wouldn't work very well. Keep up the good work.

Ha, so Harry wasn't exacly awake when he caressed Hermione? i sure wonder what'll happen when he IS awake.

First of all, I admire your resolve. Those vows are not easy to hold to. (Some of them are, but others, like the update one...) The few, but brillant rarely hold to such rules.

Second, I love your story. It's realistic, near cannon, and the story is flowing wonderfully so far.
