Great chapter. It was nice to see Cerule take Weiss down a peg. But more than that, I really like what you did with both Wisteria and Onyxia on their feelings about Weiss and Yang, with Onyxia feeling anger at Port for creeping on Yang and feeling protective of her, even though she doesn't understand why and Wisteria wanting to comfort Weiss and see how she grows and grow along with her, likely also not understanding the deeper meaning of these feelings. It's a really good look at how wild animals that have gained human-level intelligence would grapple with these new feelings they have. Can't wait for the next one!

A much needed fixing from the original.

This was a good one. I liked that Silver at least tried to get Ruby to focus, though with it being Ports class, you can't blame her. I also like Onyx getting defensive toward her future girl. Though Cerule calling out Weiss and Wisteria cheering her up were my favorites. I liked that Cerule was blunt honestly, Silver may think it's too far, but with how Weiss was acting, being blunt honestly was probably best cause she'd be too mad to listen to anything else. And Wisteria's way of helping Weiss was nice, along with her talking about how she and the other aren't used to team work, but make it work.

Personally I think the RWBY Hunters generally having better speed with the MH Hunters generally having much more general physical strength and better armor (if only because they bother to make armor in the first place, most characters in RWBY seem to rely on their Aura exclusively).
While I personally doubt their ability to hunt proper Elder Dragons as well as monsters at/near their level (at least not without causalities) I do agree that Power-scaling can be absolutely ridiculous/insane at times.

The way I see it is the rwby characters have more skill but the monster hunters have way better armor
