I thought Blake will catch up fast and hard. Jaune will have to fight against Blake and Weiss will be badly wounded by Blake. Well, that was my reckon in this chapter lol I am not good at guessing the next move.

I quite enjoy the diverge between Jaune and Weiss. I think it makes them interesting. Jaune is rather dull he needs kick. Weiss is too faithful to Atlas, she needs reality check.
Although I am still not sure if Weiss is genuinely, or she is working for an Atlas mission Ironwood and Winter assigned her, to learn the secrets of sects. But I’be surprised Ironwood would go to this extent to pitch Jaune.
Nonetheless I am glad Weiss’ keenness to learn is able to get her extra skills, it was short hard courses maybe barely much but enough, at least to survive. Weiss is a walking Atlas marked by many, it will take decades for many to forget the war. Black Ribbon will definitely want her head now. Raven wants her too. She won’t survive, even strong soldier like her sister Winter was prepared to die.

I look forward to seeing Jaune becoming a lot stronger and eventually defining his own codes. I want to see if he will draw his own tendencies. Jaune will be a good master he has patience to teach grump student like Weiss lol

Yeah the villages are desperate, they were pushed but combatants, firing shots and running their truck over them aren’t poky anymore. If Weiss cut her mile long hair to weave for the Spirit Inhabiting Cloth technique, she'd be able to single-mane-edly end the war.

If a one-hit kill technique is in the mid-level scrolls, what the hell is in the Incarnation level ones?

I find it a bit of a cop out that somehow Weiss is able to learn these techniques so fast just because she has a bit more experience while being a huntress in training. This Weiss doesn’t seem to be able to use a semblance so far so I wouldn’t say she’s considered to be that “experienced”.

What’s more the way she uses her Aura is used in a different way and inefficent way going by how differently the sects use aura. I feel like Coeur just wants to make Weiss be somewhat competent quickly just so that she can contribute something while the two of them are constantly on the move to avoid Blake.

It doesn’t feel rewarding and most certainly doesn’t feels like she earned it through hard work and effort.
