![]() ![]() ![]() I like Pete Charles and how he handles people. He projects honesty and compassion, yet has a strong moral compass and definitely follows it. I am VERY wary of Phillippe. With or without the drugs, he is arrogant, selfish, and cruel. Curious to see how this shakes out... |

![]() ![]() ![]() The thought of how different Erik's life might have been is quite a task. He could have experienced love, acceptance, family and might have avoided so many horrors throughout his life. But, alas, life doesn't always work out that way. As difficult as it was for Erik, he took a chance on love and acceptance and got the ultimate payoff. Nadir and Erik's heart-to-heart before the wedding was such a perfect opportunity for both of them. Curious about our desr Pere abd Phillippe... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting twist with Phillippe. Here he is trying to destroy our little group, then supposedly unable to remember doing it, and now he us getting assistance breaking a morphine addiction. Will it change anything? Will Phillippe be open to their help? Will it change anything as far as seeing Raoul as a victim of everyone else? |
![]() ![]() I love it ! I am highly looking forward to every new chapter you post! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! Really well constructed. And funny too! "Who wants tea?" Nadir asks. "Pere, are there any sweets? All this excitement has whetted my appetite." Priceless. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Once again, Erik's and Nadir's instincts are excellent! Considering what might have happened, they were all lucky. Phillippe is a vengeful, cruel, with no sense of morality. Can't wait to see how this shakes out. Nadir is a character everyone can love. A steady hand in any storm! |
![]() ![]() I thought it was amazing and loved that Erik and Christine finally ended up together would like to see more please |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well-written creepy moment about Philippe - unexpected! Yikes, some bad stuff is about to happen. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yikes! Phillip being in the house is NOT a good omen. Good thing everyone is with others and wary already. It might help with their safety. I really love the closeness and mutual fondness of this group. It reminds me of their own little family. It also reminds me, for those of us who grew up in more complex and toxic families how wistful it is wanting a more caring and loving family. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This Erik amazes me with how far he has come with the people he feels comfortable with. He shares in conversations; helps solve problems, and holds back his emotions and reactions MUCH better than the old Erik. These new skills make him part of the world; something that doesn't come easy to him. I just hope they can stop that villainous Phillippe... |
![]() ![]() ![]() It seems everyone is nervous and agitated about all the unknowns with the Raoul and Phillippe situation. I suspect that their apprehension will soon be for a good reason... |
![]() ![]() ![]() It is having Erik interact with all these friends and family impacts his perspective. Here are people who are listening to his past, his tragedies, and regrets. Those around him are listening, accepting, and offering empathy and advice. With all the countless interpretations of Erik, imagine how different his life might have been with that kind of humanity around him. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Obviously Christine has some unresolved issues with her father. How could she not? Yet. like women throughout history, their feelings were so often discounted or ignored. They both can be good for each other, offering different perspectives and feelings. So glad Nadir and Adele are visiting. Those two always seem to shake things up a bit. |
