Devils lying down the law is just what they needed to do. The church literally handed them the reigns to what happens next by making that ambush. Though I wonder if a war will actually break out. Most of the top brass of the angels, devils, and fallen want to avoid a war but can the devils pride let bygones be bygones after one of their own was ambushed.

Also, Big Red really stood on business offing Sataenel like that. I underestimated his game

Almost feel bad for Serafall. She wreally wanted peace to go through to the point where I feel she became overly optimistic and hopeful. Put her faith into what was most likely a trap and the gamble did not pan out.

Though why are they worried about people seeking them for answers about all of these allegiences. Like, let the people know, Ophis was working with Satanael, fallen angels, and the shinto. The Church (and heaven by Proxy) and the Fallen cooperated to assassinate one of your Noble Devils under the pretense of just wanting to talk. Its not even shit flinging, its just the truth.

It was really a highkey dumbbutt and dickish move of Matty to agree to that meeting and not tell his fiancees. Imagine hearing that your significant other was dead or kidnapped along with some of your friends who went with him being dead, kidnapped and traumatized because your husband decided to walk headfirst into what even children would see as s trap.

Matty's talking big but we all know he would have died before he went all out because going all out would put his peerage at risk. I get that he's just assauging the girls' worries so us readers will be the ones to hold him accountable and call CAP

Plus he couldn't even call his stronger backup.

That aside, cool fight. Sucks that we didn't get to see him go all out but the girls really got to shine, especially Ingvild. Lowkey MVP that one. And it's nice to get a power scaling even if it wasn't during a fight scene.

Love your writing and your prose and there's just so much i want to talk about in this story but for note i'll settle with this.

The 8 months for the first upgrade. Then another two years and 8 months for the next. Seeing all these 8's kind of feels like its hinting at something. Maybe infinity, some kind of linking to ophis? Or maybe our MC's just a Hachiman.

Either way, can't wait to read more.

This story still have many contents untouched (ExE, Old Satan Faction, Diodora, Rizevim, etc) yet it still haven't had any update for a month.

Interesting unlike canon Kuroka is not wanted since House Narbeius was guilty and now joins her sister Koneko in Rias peerage.
