chapter 20 not showing on the fanfic app

I couldn’t review chapter 20 for some reason:

Funny how it seems that Tsunade cares so much for Mito after she basically left her older brother to be a scapegoat for the village’s rage, and doesn’t seem to feel any guilt towards how they left a defenseless child to be hated by his entire home and enslaved by a man who turned him into a weapon. The fact that they never mentioned him when talking to Minato together shows that they are perfectly willing to pretend that they did nothing wrong in regards to how they failed him.

Also I love how Minato didn’t automatically forgive Jiraiya for breaking the promise he made to protect his children. Also I know that Jiraiya’s main excuse for protecting Mito over Naruto was because Mito was the true jinchuruki, but I can’t help but feel it was because Mito had one thing that Naruto didn’t: Mito was the biological child of Minato and Kushina, and Naruto was only adopted. Which is an even bigger disservice to Minato and Kushina due to how much they loved Naruto.

Finally, I feel like Naruto’s biological parents are not fully understand why Naruto is the way he is. He has been constantly betrayed and let down his entire life by everyone around him. He was trained by a man with enough skeleton’s in his closest that he would probably be executed if all his crimes were ever fully uncovered to be a Shinobi and not trust anyone from a young age. Naruto also didn’t want Minato to be blinded by Jiraiya and his excuses/half truths about why he failed at protecting his son and abandoned him to the mercy of the village and its leadership. Naruto has been constantly undervalued as a Shinobi by the village. He probably just wanted to make sure that he wasn’t betrayed by another paternal figure.

Also I have to say that Gai is a hypocrite. He condemns Naruto for attacking Neji, but he is blinded that Neji should have stopped running his mouth off and insulting Naruto, especially after he was beaten already. Hai should have also taught Neji not to constantly insult people about their past, much less because of what a person was forced to do in order to survive. Hell, I feel like if it weren’t for the fact Neji was a Hyuga, I feel like there wouldn’t be much of an issue.

Loved this chapter was prob the best one so far, we had jiraiya and tsunade acting like naruto didnt exist while talking to minato, we had naruto and gai have some drama, had him meet up with lil miss uchiha and had minato learn about naruto and be disgusted with jiraiya and the village. All i want tbh is since minato is returning there could be a festival and to get naruto and sayuri together or closer, also idk if ive said but kishina could come back to live cannon wise use uzumaki mask to free her soul and use the reanimatiin jutsu and bring her fully back to life like madara did, kushina being around the end or much farhter ahead

Can't believe people still write neglect fics in 2025. I thought we were past lazy plot devices that writers so liked to use in 2015.

You know, I honestly wouldn’t blame Naruto for hating both Jiraiya and Tsunade for abandoning him and leaving him to the mercy of the village without anyone to actually watch over and raise him. They decided to take the easy out, abandoning him and destroying the trust that both Minato and Kushina placed on them to protect their children. The fact they didn’t even bother to check on him at all during his childhood to make sure he is actually being cared for and protected is also deplorable. Also Minato better not automatically forgive Jiraiya for abandoning his son and letting him be tormented by the village, enslaved by Danzo, and used as a scapegoat all while he was busy playing family. Hell, I want to see Minato basically tear through everyone who decided to spit on his “sacrifice” and torment his son.

Im going to be very very honest, i was going to unfav this cause I thought naruto was going to forgive them, but him just teleporting jiraiya there and saying he doesn’t care and leaving i am loving that, i want like atleast 5 chapters of tsunade jiraiya and mito suffering xause naruto was literally left in a garbage can while they played family and i need minato angry at them, and idk if you read reviews but is kushina gone for good? All they need is the reaper mask from uzumaki vault in konoha i believe and they can litwrally free her soul for free

Okay no offense Gai, but maybe you should ask yourself why exactly Naruto acted like that to Neji, especially when he was the one who kept pushing Naruto to the point of losing his patience, and even when he lost the fight, he still kept running his mouth of, therefore maybe he should learn not to bite off more than he can chew.
