I don't know where to begin, you have a good idea, but the development is lacking. You are trying to make Naruto an Otsutsuki, and by the start of your story, he is a full blooded one. He should not be following the same development path as a regular Naruto with Kurama had.

Joining root after Hiruzen shackles him is insane; if he want his freedom, leave the village. Yes, he was trained under Itachi's ideals, but the moment you decided they had to battle, all those ideals should be in question, at least for a bit. This is assuming you are trying to humanized him in the story.

It's your story and it has potential, but the development needs to be hash out a bit more. Cheers!

good luck with your fic...but am dropping it...yout naruto isnt well written compared to the originals... he should be smarter than this , your basically turning him to itachi in a way...misplaced loyalty and all...he has no bond with sayuri, his sisterhe may protect and the damn village.. it doesnt matter if you say its for the truth especially when he was just told the truth.
am not saying he ahould plan to destroy the village but nothings says he cant leave the village for good, or if you want him to bring peace why not follow a more Madara route...becaue his lineage shouldnt make him this stupid

i know i have seen this itachi trains a wilderness Naruto idea before...honestly its belittling.
this naruto has nothing of minato and kushina in him, and even if his bio parents were not like the rest of the otsutsukis...am pretty sure they are naturally arrogant.. which naruto should be.

you cant make an otsutsuki Naruto and try to make him like his canon counterpart...it a bit demeaning but i digress this is your book.

the issue of itachi putting him under genjutsu tho is another issue... naruto is meant to have very dense otsutsuki chakra and a natural six paths chakra and yet, itachi genjutsu works?...i mean your Naruto was able to shape shift as a baby and accomplish impossible feats during the kyuubi attack and yet...
dont forget that people who wields regular chakra cant do a thing to a six paths user( child or not)

naruto is essentially a full otsutsuki hagoromo, write him that way...only this Naruto would be even stronger as he will have challenges growing unlike hagoromo who only had to fight when he was a young adult.
and then his eyes started developing showing you that otsutsukis develop different from humans in Naruto.

I'm loving this story please keep up the good work I can't wait till chapter 5 comes out and I wonder how Hiruzen going to react when Naruto ask him questions about Jinuruki and want to know why is everybody hating and fearing him and about his origins. I'm surprised that Danzo didn't start trying to look for Naruto behind Hiruzen back and try to manipulate the boy into being his personal weapons with lies and deceit?

Good story, but you should’ve kept Minato or Kushina alive. Just like other stories you’re going to kill off the Uchiha clan maybe just the elders or you’ll be making the village weak or make itachi hokage
