I appreciated the details of the trial - why they couldn't use Veritaserum and other such methods in court. Well thought out.

It says at the bottom of this little review box to say what was both good, and what could use improvement... frankly, I can't find a thing to improve. You've delved so thoroughly into both the HP world and the BtVS world, and blended them so perfectly, the story is practically seamless. I love your grip on the characters, and you actually made me like Dawn, while still maintaining the character, which is a tough thing to do. She's maybe a little too "perfect" in a few chapters, but it seems to even out after awhile. The story reads like a HP book... this'll make it tough to read the _real_ HP6 ;) (If you couldn't tell, I'm gonna try putting a review for 54 chapters in this little space... bare with me.)LOVE Dawns interaction with Snape. Trei's part in the story was wonderful, I liked how you tied her species' attempted use by the wizarding world in with Dawn's rescue... and the "christmas tradition" was hilarious. I dare say this is the best fanfic I've read... and I've been reading fanfic's for about 7 years now. Keep going! Can't wait for the next installment!

First off, I want to say that this is a well done work; well penned, the timing seems just right, a very well thought-our story line, and simply a very good read.
I do, however, have one gripe: namely that Dawn, as the story has progressed, has been tending steadily towards the Mary Sue end of the character spectrum.
I, admittedly, probably shouldn't throw too many stones here; I've got a few characters of my own that I've fought long and hard to keep from becomming Mary Sues, some with more success than others. Still, Dawn has that whole "too good to be true" thing happening, and it's something you may want to think about as you progress with this.
Still, all in all, a good story, definitely one of my favorites.

Blaise's uncle? Oh my. And Lestrange and Petigrew are still at large. Not good. Not good t'all.

Poor Blaise, her uncle is the one responsible and she doesn't even know what he did. Hope she deals with it alright.

I really like how careful Tonks is in her investigation and questioning of Dawn. Nice touch.
This has been an all-round great story.

Jedi Buttercup is confusing the House Cup with the Quidditch Cup. Ravenclaw has the Quidditch Cup pretty much in the bag right now.

Liked the details in this one. "Uncle A-Zed", the interaction with Blaise in general, the cleverness with the four rows of voices, the telling of the story.
About Harry's comment, though - "That dashed any hopes that Harry had for Gryffindor to win the cup" - Nice to see that fame _still_ isn't going to his head. He's gotten points at year-end for facing down Lord V before, and now that he and several others went to rescue someone from him and actually took the snaky SOB down, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that points (or something) will be awarded again. Even if you don't intend to do so, _someone_ among the students is likely to have thought of that.
