Very readable story, with a high writing quality.

I can't help but feel that it was missing something, though - Voldy went down a bit too easy, and that killed a lot of the dramatic tension. Accidentally stumbling across a Dark Lord in their lair typically doesn't lead to good outcomes.

As someone who majored in history (at Berkeley no less, where there is an actual human skin parchment in one of the collections) I completely agree with the shop keeper, anyone who would write on a 12th century encyclical does need close watching.

I have never even watched Buffy, but I love Harry Potter. This was a great tale-well written, and quite enjoyable. I'd love to see a sequel. Dawn sems just right for Harry, and vice-versa :)

Something that bugged me all the way through this... Hermione is not 2 months younger than Harry. Hermione Granger is 10 months OLDER than Harry Potter. Nobody enters Hogwarts before their 11th birthday, even if that means they turn 12 a mere half month after their Sorting.

This might bug me more than some others though due to the fact that I actually share my birthday with Hermione, Adam West, Jeremy Irons, Danielle Panabaker, and several other persons on IMDB... But still, either way, she should have been joining Dawn in the Apparition lessons etc.

Well played on the title of the chapter. Personally, I'm with Dawn and Buffy - the Knights are Up To Something, and probably the further away they stay, the better.

You know, I always hoped that Malfoy would at least get enough *class* to make a credible villain. If only he could turn himself into the HP version of the Mayor, he'd be a worthwhile opponent, instead of the Act One Boss.

Oh, Spike, Spike. How truly true to character. I'm more worried about this shady Doctor, but I suppose anyone who shows up in a blue phone booth would raise eyebrows even among wizards.

Well, my review's more for the entire story. I couldn't remember if I reviewed over on TtH or not, but here goes:
Terrific characterization. Harry's so much less emo-kid, I almost didn't recognize him. But trust me, that's a good thing. JK's Harry was heavy going sometimes. Dawn, Buffy and Co. were well written also; and I liked the incorporation of original elements, such as the Veriloquus Sphere, and Remus as Ginny's Watcher. I've read many, many other fics where Ginny became a Slayer and this is definitely one of the best. An all-around good read, and well done. :)

A pig in a fish could become the next turducken! Not that it would make buying one any less silly.
A pike could also refer to the weapon, though I do not know how you would get a pig inside one.
