I... h-he... Raven is... is dead? He died! Oh my God! How could poor Raven be taken by... by bandits? Shadow! How could Shadow be taken from Raven... and so easily? Your story is touching, I havnt cried this hard since reading "Raven's Redemption". I think the most painful blow was when Raven said they killed Shadow... while he was defenseless I just thank Zoid Eve that I didnt have to see him die...without saying goodbye to Raven...

Sorry. I'm on a angsty Raven high. I keep coming across this story and I ALWAYS stop to read it! I must have read it FIFTEEN TIMES! It's so addicting! And. . .*sniffle*. . .sad. . .;;_;;

I love anything to do with Van and Raven, especially if you can take it in a sligh shounen-ai sense, but personally i liked this just the way it was, simple, direct, well written, with just hints of emotions beyond what was already displayed. A fitting end and reception by foes for a warrior. *sniff* Poor Raven. The part that got me was when he said he lost Shadow.

Wow, I haven't read a Zoids fic in a while. (this is pochyakko, btw. i changed my pen-name.) You're writing is still as great as ever. The dialogue's are so realistic and in character! This is such a sad fic, but sad is good. I absolutely love the ending.

D'you know, I think I like potential shounen-ai better than definite shounen-ai. Because this is better than any absolute Raven/Van I've ever read. (Well, except perhaps fore Malebolge) Very in-character, particularly the way Van isn't too good with the people-skills. Say what you will, I still don't think he ever really grew out of that.

You ahve that beautifully constructed, executed, and in character. The Cowboy Bebop references at the end made me laugh though, I reminds me mostly of Jupiter Jazz... and not much od Waltz for Venus *cries* I like Rocco...

Now, each character was well... in character. I found the story a pleasing read, and a must read for everyone.

*keens* You killed Raven! *keens some more, straightens out* Despite that agonizing fact though, I have to say, once again: BRILLIANT/WONDERFUL! You wrote Raven's death very well! *holds back keen* But still, something bothers me. You said the Genobreaker had fallen into "worse disprepair"...? I believe the Genobreaker could've healed itself on its own... I remember in the anime, after the first Deathstinger charged particle beam and Shadow's death. The Genobreaker was in bad shape (also after Raven's first battle with Hiltz in New Helic City)...but in the episode where we first see Raven after that, where he's taking care of Reese, the Genobreaker is in perfect condition again... Don't mind me, eh heh. I could be getting something wrong here, but the fic is still great! Eh heh, sorry for rambling! *meanders off, leaving a black feather behind*
