This is just perfect. That childish naivety combined with the war in the background was amazing. If only Peter really had done something to help others. And I just loved that part with Remus, the way he was surprised Dora was willing to touch him, the way he was reluctant to accept praise from others, really captured his character.I loved that Remus's main concern was whether Dora wanted to play that game, it's so typical of him to put others first. All those small details, like the doll Peter picked for the fight, really showed what kind of people they all are.

oh my LORD what a plot twist!

Genius, dear author, genius. I loved this short little story so very much. :) It was the perfect blend of innocent naïveté and dark foreshadowing. It's hard to see things through a child's eyes sometimes: their perfect and uncomplicated world that they have before they grow up and experience all the ugliness and brokenness that the world has to offer. *sighs* The last scene honestly gave me chills! I'm glad that Peter still has some shreds of humanity left in him then. I never could imagine him as the ruthless sort, just the kind out to save his own skin – even then, it seems like he would save what he could, no?

Anyway, this was a FANTASTIC story, and it will definitely be going on my favorites list. :)

Oh, this is adorable! Tonks is so cute as a child, and I love how she and Sirius get along. Peter was extremely well, it surprised me that he protected the house, knowing of Bellatrix's plans.
It was quite human of him, and thatsa side you don't see very often on Peter.
Lupin. I love Lupin in everything, he's the best werewolf ever, and I love him. What he did for tiny Tonks was so cute!

Overall, this story was amazing!

Oh my god. I absolutely love it. Tonks is so cute here, and the way Peter protects the Tonks family (well mainly just Dora)-it seems that even though he is a death eater, he's still human. Human enough to protect the family Bella wants to kill. This story is gorgeous.

I loved this so much, this is such a darling story! I wished James had been tere, but at the same time, it's okay for him not being there. I love how Dora could see everything, in the precise way that adults underesrimate children. I loved Sirius love for her, it made perfect sense and I hate how that wasn't on the books. I loved the Remus you wrote, and the Peter you wrote (scared and wrong).
Ah, you are such a wonderful writer, thank you for this lovely ahort story.
