   Mardia chapter 1 . 8/21/2003 I absolutely adored this story. Wonderful. Everyone in this story is real and so true to character. The best thing is that there are little phrases that conjure up these vivid images in your mind and others that just make you pause and go, "Wow." Your Tonks is wonderful, and I really like the fact that she IS six years old. Some fics centering around children make them too mature for their age and make you say, "Okay, no little kid says that." Her relationship with Sirius is just wonderful and I can completely see their relationship being this way. Her reactions to Remus and Peter, excuse me, 'Mr. Lupin and Mr. Pettigrew' are fantastic, especially with Remus. When Sirius sees the face of 'the bad witch' aka Bellatrix, it sent shivers down my spine. I instantly got this picture of Bellatrix's face on a six-year old body and just shuddered. No wonder Sirius was disturbed by that. I loved the ending. Any story involving the Marauders that doesn't ignore Peter is good, but yours is just excellent. Seeing Peter as a Death Eater still doing the right thing-awesome job with that. You've done an incredible job with this story. I'm putting it on my favorites list and looking forward to reading more of your work. |
