Brilliant plot and characterization, well-written... thank for a great read. One tiny little detail though, as far as I know, Peter joined the Death Eaters in 1980. Anyway, your story is truly awesome. You deserve special praise for integrating Peter so well...The coward and betrayer who still cares.

I lost count how many subtext in the fic, whether to things currently happening or things that will happen in the future. Very nice fic. Thank you for sharing with us this wonderful fic.

Liked this story a lot! I enjoyed the interaction between Sirius and Dora Tonks and Andromeda. The connection between Lupin and Dora was established very nicely. I also liked the scene when Dora changed her face to look like Bella and Sirius' reaction. But for some reason, the final scene made the most impact on me, to see that Peter's in a different light - someone who's not totally irredeemable... he and I must share the same opinon - 6 year old Dora's too cute to die at the hands of evil Bellatrix!

I read this forever ago, and just came across it again. I loved it just as much as the first time! It's such a great, original concept, and totally believable.

As many people have mentioned, I'm glad that you made Peter a normal human being, instead of an evil little worm. xD That was lovely, and I think you got his character spot-on.

Aw... I absolutely love the Remus/Dora moment, and Sirius being all... Sirius. Andromeda exactly how I imagined her to be, and Ted too. And I think this is the only story I've read, where I actually find myself liking Peter. Peter's cute isn't he? And we know he's a Death Eater here, and we know he's going to betray James and Lily, but he's just really likeable! I think it's a feat to be able to do that. A lot of stories have pathetic, pitiful Peter that makes me go 'aww, I sympathise with him'. This once was great, really great. I love how Peter 'joked' that Dora should tell Bella that Wormtail said no, and how he warned Bella off... I'm obsessing over this, I'm sorry! It's just that this really is the first, and I'm loving it.

Normally he's just 'that-stupid-traitorous-prat' and I curse his very existence, but you've given him a very very redeeming quality. :D This is so going on my favorites.

really incredible story! i loved it! Siruis was great, his interactions with Tonks and Andromeda was great! The idea of an doll army was so great! and the ending was probably the best, Remus and Tonks ya! and Peter marking the house made this story just that much more special, i loved how you showed a different Peter.

Oh wow, I didn't realise this was such an old story. I just stumbled across it while browsing and loved it. It's spot on.

Wow, this was incredible! It was up for a nomination on a fairly new Fanfiction Oscars forum, so I figured I'd check it out - I'm really glad I did! Your characterizations of everyone was so very good. Your Andromeda was wonderfully guarded and on edge, and her interaction with Ted was one of my favorite versions. I just loved your Sirius to bits, between his joking and the serious (no pun intended) side you showed when Dora was evesdropping on him and Andromeda. Then Remus, who I usually am very uninterested in, came alive in this piece: the charmed dolls were really creative, both of you and him. Dora was adorable; you got inside a five year old's head so well. What she saw of the war was a great representation.

And then your Peter ... oh, how I loved your Peter; the end made it for me - both him making his mark on the window and the tantalizing, terrying snippet of Bellatrix. I love the shades of humanity you gave him - and Sirius' comment about his "little sword" just made me die laughing :-D
