peggyjolaws chapter 32 . 9/4/2020 I have never read a Harry in Azkaban sort before but I thought I would give yours a try, the whole time I was reading it I kept telling myself I was just going to read to the end of this chapter then I would go read something else, then I would say the same at the end of the next. Kind of like just one more cookie and I getting up. good job! |
Lorde Shadowz chapter 27 . 9/3/2020 I believe Siri's eyes are grey canonically, not that it matters now... |
Lorde Shadowz chapter 24 . 9/3/2020 Go Harry! Fudge got melted, and I love it! Way to go, rooting out incompetence like nobody's business... Poor Ronnie, though...I mean, he deserved it, sort of, but ouch! Heh. I can just picture Snape "He should have been a Slytherin"...and the others' appalled looks. |

bobthebobster chapter 32 . 7/16/2020 Wow. This book is amazing. I'm not really sure how to explain just how ridiculously amazed I am, for fear of understating my feelings. This is possibly the best fan-fiction I have EVER read. And I've read a lot of fan-fictions. I know that I'm going to check out your profile and *fingers crossed* see if you have any other books. Here's my proper review now: When I was browsing through some of the most favourited Harry Potter books on this website, I found this book, 'Redemption'. I've just finished it, and can safely say that this is astounding. One of the bad things about many good stories I've found; is that the grammar is dreadful. I'm very glad to say that I have no such problems with this book. In fact, I'm not sure if I could even recommend any way for you to improve this! This fantastic fan-fiction is a work which really shows depth in Harry's character, not just in behaviour, but also in his general reactions and thoughts. Lots of stories I've read have shown Harry Potter to be a beacon of light with no flaws, and I'm (for lack of better word) impressed at how imperfect Harry is, even with keeping to his standard hero role. You see, after he spent his time in Azkaban, and he returned to the Burrow, and the whole 'ahahahah i am now dark harry bow down before meeeeeee' malarkey showed up, I was worried that this was going to be your typical backstabbing light side story. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that, even though that he was betrayed by those whom he placed his trust in, he was able to overcome the problem! The thing about all this, is that even though he got through his difficulties, he isn't suddenly permanently healed, and he still has a somewhat shaky relationship with his friends. THAT is an example of accurate human psychology. And I appreciate that. For all intents and purposes, I think this story is great. This piece has managed to portray real emotions, not just happiness, but also sadness, without overwhelming me. The protagonist doesn't randomly change opinions on this, and there is a suitable explanation for all of the characters' behaviours, be it the typical political figure Fudge, or the grief-burdened Black. I for one could never have seen this outcome from the first 10 or so chapters, and yet I'm glad that it wasn't overly predictable, because the suspense was just right, and if I had seen events coming from a mile away it wouldn't have made this such an enjoyable read. Even though the main point of the story occurred just over halfway through, there were still entertaining twists all the way through to the end. I mean, I doubt anyone who has read this could say that they saw Harry becoming headmaster! I can safely say that I recommend this fan-fiction to anyone willing to read this, and on a scale of 1 to 100, I'd give this roughly a 96. ️ I APPRECIATE THIS BOOK AND IT'S AUTHOR ️ |
Guest chapter 32 . 7/15/2020 Magical. I know it’s a bit late but still. INCREDIBLE. Everything fits perfectly and parts of it had me running circles around my yard in excitement. I hope you’ll write more Harry Potter stories! |
