Enjoyed the story thanks

I'm at chapter 20 and sort of disappointed. Such a brilliant beginning slowly dissipated into meaningless triteness... I wonder if you could be gracious enough to grant me permission to utilise the first 7 chapters and see where I can take them?

On second thought, if I was Harry, or if Harry was me, I'd move out of the country. Change my name. Make new friends. Do a lot of travel. Slowly forget the people who held little faith in me.

I have to say, on a personal level, I'd hate to cross you. Words do hurt more. And you can be brutal.

Awww, I liked what Hermione and Ron had to say. It was heartfelt. Harry would have to be made of stone to not want to eventually forgive them.

This version of Harry reminds me of book 5 Harry, The Order of the Phoenix. He was super pissy, angsty, and frustrated. His resentment feels so real. You captured how I think he would have felt. How I might feel if in the same situation. The shitty thing about resentment is it's hard to be happy again. And Harry deserves to be happy. Even if his friends don't quite as much for assuming the worst of him. I once heard a saying that I like very much. Resentment is a poison you drink, and expect the other person to die.

I think that all that time Harry was in Azkaban, Harry got to look into Voldermort's mind. That's where he learned those powerfull spells and wandless magic. Also how he was able to deal with being in Azkaban. Unless he escaped and projected a mirror image into the cell, somehow making a solid Harry. Also learning that magic from old Voldy Warts.

Not only has the story been amazing, but your author's notes are the only ones I've ever enjoyed reading! Thanks for this Powerful!Harry. It's not often we find one so well written :))

About the requests for a sequel ... You might want to consider writing small vignettes with one plot each rather than a big, lengthy, complex sequel similar to this original story. For example, one could deal with finding and dispelling the DADA curse. Write it as a long one-shot or 2-3 chapters.

Other vignettes could deal with different issues. Maybe Harry and his two shadows could visit Hagrid and Olympe's school. Harry should get a girlfriend, too. Hmmm ... where is Luna? Or maybe it could be a different girl, like Morag Macdougal or Megan Jones.

I would definitely do the small sequels rather than try to take on something that ties you up for months or years. That way, you just focus on things that are quick and of interest to you. Just a suggestion.

I really did enjoy this one, btw. You asked about other Azkaban stories. One of my favorites is Corwalch's "Do not Meddle in The Affairs of Wizards."

There is another one that is good, but I can't remember the name. It is much darker and deals with the horrors and torture done to Harry by people like Cedric's dad (the reason Harry was tossed into Azkaban), Dawlish, Scrimgeour, etc. It is a WIP. I'll try to find it.

You do realize that "envenerate" is not the correct countercurse for "stupefy". The meaning is completely wrong. The correct countercurse, "ennervate", means basically to give energy or energize. Envenerate, on the other hand, means to revere or regard with great respect. How would revering someone cause them to wake up after they've been stunned? It wouldn't. I've seen this misused in other fics as well and it's always frustrating because it makes no sense. I don't know who started it, but I'm hoping it will drop out of use very soon.

*sigh* this's good story until I think chapter 26 or 27... forgiveness need time, and I mean really really need time. I know you want to make Harry forgive everyone, but why don't you make time skip for a couple year and then forgive them? It's to quick and I mean really really unbeliveble quick! *sigh*

Reread - love the story. Perhaps he SHOULD sit his OWLs and NEWTs, just to show he CAN and how high his final grades would be.
So...many a moon has passed since you've written...aprox. 16 years. :) Life gets full. And sometimes very difficult. Perhaps you will be able to find the time, someday, to dig out that muse and think of a sequel? Perhaps...
