A new owl? I'm terribly disappointed in you. He ONCE idly wondered what happened to Hedwig, but doesn't ask anybody and just replaces her. SOMEbody took her, and for some reason didn't see fit to send her back.

This is a great fic, but I think I'm gonna leave it their because I think 'Never Again' is an excellent ending.

Please say that he tears everyone to shreds! One of the biggest problems I had with the books was that Harry was far too forgiving of things he shouldn't have been. I have stopped reading several fanfics for the same reason - for example, his best friend enters his name into the goblet as a joke, he gets picked, and then forgives them after all of two apologies. Anyway, rant over. Next chapter, here I come!

Cool world building and nice writing of Harry and Snape.

It was really hard to accept the main premises of the story though, it is really hard to imagine his closest friends acting like that and remus/sirius forcing themselves on him, especially after the scene on the tower.

Would have loved some more exploration of the old castle, before making it all about his two remorse uncles.

I can recommend reading this, if one can overlook the slightly overdone forgiveness theme.
