Of all the fics I’ve ever read, I cannot believe that I have not read this one yet. Really great intro chapter. Can’t wait to see what Harry is up to.

Thanks for this story. It was different, usually Harry does not forgive because it is the fics bashings or they were on his side.

This was a great, fun, read. Even with the completely justifiable angst. Really glad I found it and going to look at what else you've done.

Wow, when they go for stupid they do it right. I'm trying to imagine the mental process here. They allowed the CHILD that they were supposed to be protecting to go to hell without a trial. The irony in that is just unfathomable. Then, to fix it, they force the man who never got a childhood, thanks in large part to self pity (Remus) and lack of self control or sense of responsibility (Sirius) to be forced to live with them or kill them. The arrogance of choosing a bond only broken by forgiveness makes me dizzy. They are so lucky Harry has his sanity or they'd be dead or dungeoned, which would be completely deserved.

At least this time around he's getting his mail. I'll always wonder what Dumbles did with all of his mail from before.

I will begin by taking a leaf from the living Marauders and apologizing. I'm sorry. I was desperately hoping Harry would stay stuck in his mind set and NOT forgive the people who harmed him most and I was furious with this story that he did. I was childishly upset by not getting my way and staunchly refused to read the rest of this story for probably four years out of spite alone. And I'm glad I have returned to read the rest now. It ended well. It was written well. And I found myself realizing that eventually harboring all that hatred and disdain didn't serve any purpose for Harry. I'm glad he grew beyond it. He suffered, undoubtedly, the very deepest of betrayals. You focused on Harry's recovery and well being and the relationship he slowly fixed with the people he had trusted most. Thank you for writing this story, and well done on bringing it to a satisfying close. Cheers,
