OMG, this is such a nice and beautiful ending to this epic Tino x Lor story, I'm feeling it now, them together and with everyone )

Man, I really gotta say I havent read this good a story since Highschool, I do have to say I also belive in a harsh reality and did think the ending with Lor dying was the best way to go.

The story did keep me hooked from beginning to end and its nice to see another view of the weekenders. I must admit I had a strange feeling in my stomach after I watched another episoid right after reading you story, and similar to what I said before its nice to imagine a future for the weekenders instead of ending the whole thing at the last episoid with tinos dad.

I love your style of writing and if you ever do end up publishing some of these fanflicks on paperback then let me tell you I will be the first person to buy a copy

Hey, first off, AMAZING STORY DUDE, you are a great writer. Second off, I like the show, please dont assume Im one of those idiots who just run around the net writting hate messages, now then someone named James Pearce I belive wrote "Hey, I love the weekenders, it is the smartest and most mature show on TV (at least it used to be on TV), and this is by far the best fan story I've ever read." well dude, in North American shows, yes I agree with you 100% our shows are either silly unrealistic childrens shows, stupid comedy adult shows, etc. It is for a north American show VERY mature, but the most mature on TV? Im sorry but no, Loveless (Anime/Manga) is MUCH more mature. In fact Id say it is a tad too mature... (P.S Unless you are I would say over the age of 15 I wouldd advise agaisnt watching it, but if you are watch ep. 8-10 and focus on Koya and Yamato's backstory/things that happen, then you'l know what I mean). But I am not really reviwing, lol, I Loved this alternate ending, many because I am a HUGELY empathetic person (emotionally and physically) and I dont go well with sad endings. I LOVED THIS ENDING!

Hey, I love the weekenders, it is the smartest and most mature show on TV (at least it used to be on TV), and this is by far the best fan story I've ever read.

Loved the whole story up to chapter 17. After that I have mixed feelings. The "original" ending in chapter 20 where all is well ends in true weekenders style, with Tino's summing up and all being resolved in preparation for the next weekend. I loved this ending. The optional chapter 21 went too far into the future in my opinion, and the characters seem to be too far out of character. It also seems a little too much of a cliche for this type of story. So, I prefer to stop at chapter 20.

The "alternate" chapter 18 (really chapter 18), with the return of fate really is a masterpiece. While it did actually bring tears to my eyes to see Lor die (she was always my favorite character), this really is the ending that ties the whole story together. I would like to say that this was a fitting end to the weekenders "canon" but I can't do that. Lor cannot die... but somehow... Damn, it's hard to describe emotions. Just read the story and you'll understand. I really would of liked to see Lor pull through but I guess that's a cliche.

I found 'the weekenders' on disney one morning and i thought wtf is this and pressed select coz dere waz nothing else on. Supisingly i found that it did not suk like the otha disney channels such as Dave the barbarian and Black Hole. god they suk monkey balls

Anyway i found weekenders pretty cool and down to earth which was what i like in a good show. I like this story coz it reminded me of the show and why i like it so much. Awesome story

Although i hated chaper 18 & 19 coz i thought you went overboard with the whole death that's not what 'The Weekenders' are all about. There about what Chapter 20 and 21 are about i loved the alternative ending. CHEERS :D

I think thats the better ending. Both endings are great, but i was crying a long time, as I read the other ending, because Lor is my favorite character in "The Weekenders" so it's normal that I was crying, when I read that Lor dies. But the hole Story ist great!

wow, i love the weekenders and this is the best story anyones ever written!I really loved how u made tino and lor together..I always pictured them together and I loved how u linked back to previous episodes...lol! anyway, it was really great..this is my second time reading it because I love it so much...the first ending was so sad...i broke into tears and the way you described tino's reaction was justlike mine(red eyes, burning throat;etc)...and the second ending broke me into tears of you did a great job trying to keep the weekenders in character, but u should reread it just to make sure because every now and then the characters lines would have been for someone else...I really reccomened writing more weekenders stories...its the best one i've read on fanfic.
