Huzzah for reviewing in school computer rooms with all of five minutes before one has to go and suffer through AP history. You already know what I think of this-I've certainly ranted about it enough at the NDL. And you corrected the bit about the eyes, and now I'm giggling like a crazy fangirl thinking of Damian and his sexy, sexy, SEXY black eyes. *squeaks-sighs*

This is a lovely piece, well worded, refreshingly witty, and better yet... it's Norrington/Gillette! They are my absolute favourite pairing, but I never thought I do them justice. You have captured that brilliant chemistry between them and displayed it well.

I love the small details you wove into this piece like "James L. Norrington" (L! Blast, I want his middle name!), Gillette as a "young redhead" who maintains the flawless ability to switch from French to English without so much as batting an eye. Fantastic!
