Said this before, but will say it again: this is a story worthy of being an episode.

Lee's so amusingly predictable with his utter distaste for a gal whose name is Minerva, except he refers to her as "Minnie Mouse." That is, until he actually sees her. Whoops! He makes an about-face, dances with her all evening and does what he can to keep her safe; only to discover she returned to England!

Lee's back to the old drawing board ... his two black books filled with only girls' phone numbers. Lee doesn't realize it, but Billy Melrose already has in his mind, the woman he wants his top agent to meet. He'll know her when he meets her!

Very nice pre-quel.

"This is Minerva?" Lee looked up grinning. Yup—our Lee changes his mind fast—Minerva ain’t so bad when's she's pretty :D

This is great! You captured the Lee we saw in season one beautifully and created a very plausible explanation for the attache's irritation for our beloved Scarecrow.

It's also well-written and carefully thought out, but I will nitpick enough to point out that it's YOU'RE welcome, not YOUR welcome. That's a common error in fanfic that I confess drives me nuts :-)

Beyond that, well done and write more!
