I really liked the part where he and Jean talked like mature adults. Lol! Oh Yusuke... Its a good thing Keiko isn't there to gleefully torment him with all the extra backup.

Hello~ Youko! He's going to enjoy messing with the Institute as time wears on I'm sure. Though the trio of Japanese 'students' will be under scrutiny. Here, I see Kurama as that cat meme with the woman yelling. In this case, Xavier and crew are the woman "do you know anything about a kitsune?/is their a fourth member of your group who shapeshifts?/etc" and Kurama is leading the "what, I don't know anything" of the cat side.

Even toning themselves down, the Spirit Detective team is just too efficient and in control. A couple "flare ups" would probably have been smart on their parts, to fake out the X-Men, but they are definitely showing themselves as perfectly capable of being taken along on fights against the massing mutants and the demon is charge of them! Now we just need the X-Men to get info on the grouping of mutants. I wonder if the Brotherhood will join up or if they're disgruntled that people are joining some new group and not theirs.

Yeah... Kurt's disguise won't hold up against these two! He'll find them surprisingly accommodating though. I can guess that as Kurama and Yusuke meet more mutants with obvious physical mutations, they'll start wondering about demon ancestry.
It's going to be /so hilarious/ whenever Hiei shows up. I can already tell he'll just appear one day. Institute security is going to freak.

I love how you are handling the language barrier! Poor Ororo; but like Kurama said, many people have questioned his gender.

No /this/ is promising! Excellent characterization all around! I felt like I was watching the show, could hear everyone's voices. I'm excited to see how the trio (duo?) handle the mutants. Kurama will, most likely, have the easiest time of it, used to disguising himself and making himself seem weaker than he actually is. Hiei might struggle with limiting his speed if his power is supposed to be "fire" though. Yusuke... Hit or miss really.
