![]() ![]() ![]() LOL I love the ending! Thank you for not drawing us painfully through every second of those last five months, for giving us the sense of what they endured without actually making us endure it all. I would have liked more in the epilogue, because I am impossibly demanding and because I simply loved your story. I want to know what everyone thought and said about this great love - especially Albus, McGonagall, and maybe Molly - when it finally came to light. Were any of them surprised? I'm pretty sure what Ron and Harry would think - neither of them is very hard to read - but I'm rather curious about the others. I am also mildly curious about Severus and Genie ... will she love her new BIL, and will he come to do more than merely tolerate her? Will Sev and Hermione have children of their own, knowing how he feels about kids? I know that your story is over, and that's fine. I'm just one of those incurable romantics who likes everything tied up in a big, red, Weasley bow! (Even if the Weasleys aren't involved! LOL) Alas, since this is as far as you have taken us, I guess I'm free to imagine as I choose. :) Thank you for a really fun read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not sure "soppy romantic" is the term I'd use, although I agree that no one would believe it. "Soppy" always sounds sort of icky ... like someone who says nice words but has nothing of substance to back them up. I might say hopeless romantic ... but I like to think both of them are hopeFUL. "... the black eyes that for once revealed his soul." Yes, I'd say that is most hopeful. With that level of passion, it will be interesting to see if they are able to hide their love ... to keep it sacrosanct from the tampering of others. After all, I consider Dumbledore to be as dangerous to Severus as Voldemort when it comes to their love. He is too ready to sacrifice both of them to "the greater good." How I long to hear his commentary on tis relationship! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting exchange between Hermione and the portrait. It seems Snape's mom does want him to be with someone who loves him. I would like to know what he made of the movies. Although I know the story of Schindler's List, I have not seen La Vita e Bella (I did read a little blurb about it). Interesting that Mrs. Granger would choose two films about the Holocaust, both of which deal with men who put themselves at risk with the enemy daily to save lives - one on a larger scale and one on an intimate, personal scale. The films remind me of a comment Snape made to Dumbledore - "Lately, only those whom I could not save" - about the people he had either killed or seen die. How much does she know? |
