|Reviews for Sands Through The Hourglass|
| OutlawJacksBonnyLass chapter 37 . 2/16/2005
Oh, what a HELL of a place to leave this at! Authors are sadists... oh wait, I do that too.
Never mind, but - DAY-UM!
Loved the trap set for Martin. Didn't love the knife Martin stuck in him before said trap was sprung.
Wonderful job, lady! Bloody BRILLIANT! Now I'll be on the edge of my seat till the next update!
Can't wait for the next one!
| Lauren chapter 37 . 2/16/2005
OMG! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!
I'm still in shock! Martin did it for money, Guevarra woring for the Company and..."Who said anything about killing you?" I'm on pins and needles here, i always figured that was the worst they could do but now...::shivers:: I don't wanna know. Wait a minute, YES I DO! LoL
Yes, this IS my favorite story, there are few novels/stories/novellas that i've read that i like as much or more than your story, adn trust me i read a lot. I'm going insane here trying to figure out what's going to happen to our beloved-yet psychotic- 'pistolero', so don't keep us waiting too long savvy? LoL
| Lykosdracos chapter 36 . 1/25/2005
His head throbbed painfully when he stood up and went to answer the door.
- nice reminder never to pull a stunt like that again...
“No, just creative with weapons
- hehehe, always a good thing
I’ll take no guff from you, Carnivorous Leech,” Cam shot back.
- fear and loathing in las vegas reference! AH! Well, more importantly, a Hunter Thompson reference. muhaha, rock on to you!
This is a non-smoking room.”
- pshaw, light the fucker
I don’t really give a fuck if you shoot them, hide from them or just wound them
- leaving him open options, very cool of him. gives him room to improvise, expand, take pride in what he does... not that El will...\
You were always good, Doll, but never try and best the best.”
- AHH! That was awesome! One couldnt expect any less from Agent Sands, eh? ;)
He seemed to be unconscious
- keyword there: SEEMED, right? *gulp*
So it was a big surprise to her when he pressed his gun to her temple. “Don’t run. You’ll just die tired.”
- phew! mystery solved, and that phrase, the last sentence, totally cool! lol
body in the trunk, muhaha, nice surprise for the Mariachi
County morgue. You stab ‘em, we bag ‘em.”
AGAIN WITH THE EYE THING! BLECH! Okay, dont get me wrong, graphic violence is NOT a problem, but messing with the eyes? Sick sadistic bastard to put Sands through that again, find'em and send THEM to the morgue
He had accumulated an unbelievable amount of scars over the past few month
- i'd love to see all of his scars, lol. and hear the stories behind them too. :) ;)
Hunter? Have you by any chance read the Dark-Hunter, Sherrilyn Kenyon series?
| Choco Donut chapter 36 . 1/24/2005
Wow, another exciting chapter, I love your story so much and I can honestly say that this story is my favorite on this site without a doubt. I can't wait to see what else comes...hopefully it includes more murderous/psychotic peeved Sands LoL.
| Sparrow Lover chapter 36 . 1/23/2005
Who's playing mind games with Sands? Very curious to find out...seems like the closer he's getting, the more he's getting messed with. Smooth moves with Tina...loved the final line he delivered to her.
Hoping there's a blaze of glory but he doesn't go down with it.
As always, keep it up! Been anxiously awaiting this chapter and you did not disappoint!
| DeppInDepp chapter 36 . 1/23/2005
Hi, Great chapter but I have one problem "Cam wiped his mouth with a napkin. “Beef. It’s what’s for dinner.”
“Haven’t you ever heard of the other white meat?” Sands asked dryly and, noticing Cam’s confused expression added, “You know, pork?”" How would Sands know that Cam didn't know what he was talking about. Just thought I would point that out.
| Spoofmaster chapter 36 . 1/20/2005
I'm so happy you've updated. It just makes my day when I actually have something to read. Sorry I didn't review sooner, but it's been hectic, you know?
| ElvenPirate41 chapter 36 . 1/19/2005
It was *so* worth the wait!
Alright... I don't really know what to say, because of the perfection of this chapter. We had conniving Sands, slightly vulnerable Sands, sardonic Sands, everything that's good and happy. So I suppose all I can say is that I thought the bit with Jackson's corpse was cool.
| Stilettoo chapter 36 . 1/19/2005
I can't wait for the next chapter! It keeps on getting better and better!
| OutlawJacksBonnyLass chapter 36 . 1/19/2005
"Carnivorous Leech" LOL! Why do these Special Ops always have such odd, non-sequitor names? One of my favorites had one called "Nifty Dolphin". Things that make you go 'Huh?'
"Beef. It's what's for dinner."
Ok, I LOVED that one! How many remember those comercials? I could hear Copland's "Ho-Down" music playing in my head as soon as I read this. Too funny.
A chapter well worth waiting for - as if any of them haven't been, but I just thought I'd say it again. ) The touches of humor - both the true and the bitter, are wonderful. The psycological games underway are chilling in the extreme, and the tension is mounting. I'm on the edge of my seat here, lady! lol
Wonderfully scripted, and I'm waiting for the next twists and turns with baited breath!
| ringbearers-gaurdian chapter 36 . 1/18/2005

I knew finishing my English final would bring good things. Namely allowing me to read your latest, wonderful, update. As always everything is perfect. Many long stories loose their momentum, or their plot starts to fall apart, or the characterization becomes worse and worse, but not this one. Every chapter is a good as, or better than, the one before it. And the long length of each chapter is really nice, letting us get back into the story.
