I loved how you portrayed Kircheis' inner struggles between his honour and his loyalty to Reinhard, who is simply just too charismatic. However, I've finished the two gaidens and am about three-quarters thorugh season 1 and so far I haven't seen too much of Reinhard's coldness or ruthlessness that Kircheis might disapprove of that seems to be hinted at in this story. Although I must admit, it seems entirely plausible, as all men who acheive great things often have to sacrifice something for the sake of their dreams. Anyway, great job!

That was some good writing there. I only watched up to episode 20; but i get the feeling there's something i'm gleaning from these fics that there's something I haven't watched yet. I always thought though Kircheis was dedicated...the way he followed Annerose...

I love Legend of the Galactic Heroes, one of the best anime series ever and a fandom unfortunately share by too few. I like Yang (sp?) more though and the ending is tragic.
