Beautiful. I've always been intrigued by the relationship of Elu/Thingol, and I naturally had a fluffy view of it, but this! It's just so breath-taking, because it makes so much sense! I can't help but think, "why didn't I see it this way? Of course their relationship was like this?" and some more incomprehensible thoughts. :)
I just love the way you've weaved the relationships together, so poetically, into this short story. Simple lovely. :)
