| Blitzcat chapter 6 . 8/8/2006 I loved it! I think it's one of the only fics I've read that captures Jack's exuberence. I loved his proposal - I can just imagine him doing it that way - not asking exactly, but just making a statement and passing out! :) It was a perfect blend of happy memories, chilling encounters and a touch of sadness: Elizabeth remembering the miscarriage was very touching - as was the understated description of Jacks reaction to it. It's a shame because I would have liked to read your description of Jack as a father. All in all - pure contentment described in beautifully understated, simple prose. Thanks for sharing! |
