Kinda a painful place to leave things, and if they can imagine a weapon, why not one with a stun setting? They are Q so they should at the very least be able to manipulate the data packet envisioning the weapon.
Also if someone is capable of creating a weapon to kill a Q, why not a weapon that breaks them off from the continuum?

Amazing story.

Does this story fit into your "Judgement" series, as a sort of prequel? Even if you don't consider it part of the continuity, it certainly fits. A well written, tense, edge-of-the-seat kind of story.

A truly wonderful story. Its rich and full of a wonderful density of content. Yes, it can stand alone, but so many things are left hanging in the air-not just Amanda's own life but an unresolved war in the continuium.

If yu arn't going to write a second chapter as a natural "contin uium" of the story, than please write a sequel beginning with all the dangling unresolved details left over from the first story. Please do write a wonderful sequel with the same density of content as the preceeding story.

I really enjoyed the story and the description of the continuum. It was great to use the Amanda Rogers character to give background to the Q civil war. Great job!

This is excellent. You've captured her being part of two radically different cultures very well, and it's canon without being a slave to canon. I'm very impressed.

Uh, thanks, but this is a self-contained story. There *is* no next chapter. However, it does work as backstory to the Judgement Day arc, although I also envision it as having taken place in the "canon" universe.
