This is the most well written, the MOST tremendous characterization of Naraku that I could possibly imagine. This chapter is a work of art. The restraint, the intuition, the power of your writing… incredible. I adore this story. I found it when it was a work in progress when I was a teenager, only to come back to it years and years later, to have it stand the test of time and maturity, I am moved.

I don't know if you read these comments or use this site anymore, but I felt like sharing.
The first time I read this story I was a teenager from a severely abusive household. The concept of putting my thoughts out on the internet to comment on something was deeply scary to me in a way that severe violence has never been allowed to become, so the idea of commenting before was never something I would have chosen to do.
Despite that, I've read this story more times than I can remember, and I love it.
Now that I am a successful doctor type human, I was speaking to a friend about how I think it is so important that healthy relationships allow for people to give each other time and space to be happy, that even just because you can cling to someone and destroy their chances of finding happiness in other relationships, does not mean you should and I was struck by the sharp realization I learned that healthy relationship dynamic from this story you shared here.
So, even though I'm not sure if you still read the comments for this story, I still wanted to share.
This work literally changed my life and made me a better person,
and I do not know if I can ever fully express how grateful I am that you wrote it.
Also, it's technically excellent and I love to be able to re-read it.

I hope that all has been well with your heart. When I first stumbled across your story, I was 17 years old. Now, I am 29 years old with a newborn child and I still come back time and time again to reread your story. I understand that you would like to wait to finish the tale. When that happens, which I fervently hope it does. I will be here to continue reading. I hope that someday I can read then end to this wonderful, wonderful crossover. I also wanted to thank you. For giving me a story that I can continually reread and still enjoy as if it was that first night that I came across this.

I absolutely love this story. I read into chapter 40 (ish) and then something happened that tore me away from ff for a while but I'd always wanted to go back and reread it so here I am. So you can see how simply horrified I was to find it unfinished lol. Your story is so immersive and the characters are so detailed that I cant help but want more. Not to mention the two stories are blended so well, like they were always a part of each other. I hope you get a chance and the will to write more. I understand you haven't been feeling well so please know that we as your readers understand if it dosen't happen, but that we are all awaiting eagerly for more chapters. Thank you for the story. Me

Ok so I pretty much never comment before I'm done with a story, mostly because if I think its good enough to comment on then its probably good enough that I don't want to stop before I continue just to leave a little note. However I've got to say, . . . . wow. Not only is this take on the story so in depth and ingenious but my favourite parts are you relationships with each character. Every personal relationship is fleshed out in a way that makes you feel like your peeking in on private moments caught in time. You write beautifully. I thought kagome and sesshomaru relationship was my favorite, that unspoken strength that lies at the backbone of there intense yet quite connection but after that moment with Miroku in the clearing, there are no words. I've never even given a thought to that relationship outside of perverted older brother but reading that was like soul balm. lol I'm not sure if that even makes since but all and all I just wanted you to know that your story is greatly appreciated and I cant wait to continue, Me

This is one of my most favorite sections of fic I have ever read in this fandom. FYI. I love re-reading this story whenever I stumble back into the IYYYH fandom. You’re an amazing author and your work is amazing. Beautiful prose that has stuck with me since this was first published!

I cannot tell you how many times I have reread this fic and checked back in on turnabout is fair play hoping for updates only to remain heart broken at their state of incompletion. I respect why you stopped updating,and hoped ookamichan would get back to updating, but at this point it is painfully apparent that will never happen. Its been almost 10 years now since her last ubio udate and you cant even read the story thus far in its entirety anymore. I realize its been quite a while since you made that decision to wait for her, but I was hoping I could convince you to have pity on both of your fans who are still waiting for what is never going to happen. Let us at least read the rest of your story knowing we'll never see any more from her.

Love this fic. The way you connected the canons, the differing POVs, the way you hilariously portray the Kurama/Youko divide, Kagome being awesome, the amazing slow burn and delicious sexy times - everything is on point and I love it!

i love this fic. and its been so long i doubt its ever going to get finished (unless u finished it somewhere else and i never stumbled across it lol) but whenever I'm looking for something epic to read and can't find anything new i wander back over here for a reread and then daydream about whats going to happen next. ;) I've been doing rereads of this for years and its one of those fics that stays with you (as a reader) forever.
