|Reviews for The Stone of Malinya: Repost|
| Stormcutter684 chapter 4 . 3/12
oh my gosh. Amazing story! All throughout the story when the men of Brelan were hating Legolas just because of his race, I was thinking of a quote. "No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." -Nelson Mandela
It's an amazing quote. It fits perfectly with this story. I love the Stone of Malinya. Though it had the power to bond all of Ardas, it also had the power to rip all of Ardas apart.
I really liked Sorinth, I'm glad in the end he could see the good in elves.
I also had the rising suspicion that what's-his-face (the dude who was the traitor and died by falling off the cliff) was the traitor, or something was suspicious. So whe it revealed it to be him, I was like, HAH! I knew it!
Lol. I love your story. Especially the little cut scene - the story definitely needed that. It was amazing! Legolas saw the future! The Stone can no longer cause any more trouble, and it's never to be seen again ...
And I really liked Jarinel. The bond between elf and horse was so adorable!
In the end, I absloutely loved this story. It was amazing ... And remarkably long too! With only 4 chapters! Took me, like, 3 hours to read lol! But totally worth it. I would do it all again if I had the chance. As a matter of fact, maybe I will. :)

This was a great fanfiction! I'm so glad I stumbled across it. I started reading the original version at first, but when I checked your account on saw this updated version I quickly switched.
Although because of that, my answer to your question in chapter four of the original about whether we caught the fact that Salogel was Legolas backwards, is yes. The second I read the name I realized it for what it was and laughed for several minutes about it. It wast great.
Legolas being one of my favorite characters, this was a fun fanfiction to read. I rarely find any good ones that include him, Gimli, and Aragorn after the War of the Ring. This as like a breath of fresh air.
I really enjoyed the story, and hope you have continued writing in the years since then.

I love how you make Legolas never use the door! LOL! It's hilarious!

Respect. Truly. Not only for the length of your chapters, but also of being able to picture a story realistically even though the only connection with Middle-Earth are our three personages. Wonderful! :)

An awesome story, with an excellent plot and incredible twists and turns :P I remember reading this maybe 4 or 5 years ago, and I was so thrilled when I came across it again a couple of days ago. Really well written :) Cheers!

This was a good story - I started 2 read it because it only had 4 chapters. Boy, was I surprised when I found out how long it was! It's very good though. It drags in some parts, but even I have to admit some scenery description is neccessary. Good read!

I'm so glad you reposted this is less chapters. It made it much easier to read.
Where on earth do you get these ideas? They're brilliant! All those twists and turns! I love that you have a "deleted" scene section. I could honestly see the whole thing being played out in front of me. Lovely.

I just finished reading your story. It was really great, and like a novel. I just wonder what happened to the stable boy (I forgot his name) who freed Jarinel...
The story is really great and well thought of, with a great plot. And I think that it is very good that they decided that peace is better without the stone...

Beautiful, stunning, inspirational! That's still not enough to accurately describe this wonderful story. I remember reading the first few chapters of the original version a while ago but circumstances have meant that I've only recently been able to return to it. I'm so glad I have not been dissapointed, as this is an exceptional piece of work. I've been a fan of your writing for some time and I hope to read more in the future.
