What a wonderful, thoughtful and well-written story! I enjoyed reading this immensely, and I loved the slightly different picture you painted of Snape. It took me a few chapters, but then, I must admit, I came to like him better like this: dark, sexy and confident rather than insecure and incapable of human interaction. Slightly dark Hermione was great, too.
You did a really good job of bringing the general storyline to a logical and nicely done ending, with a surprisingly good version of the final battle. In fact, I liked it much better than the original. Kudos to the prophecy and how you worked that out! I would never have guessed... it was brilliantly done. And last not least, you had some really intriguing new ideas in this story - like Rudolphus, Ollivander, Viktor and the Call. Really, a very thorough, good job you did with this story!

Forcing very young adults to marry is the same thing as government-sanctioned rape. What exactly do married couples do, right? Sex. Forcing very young adults to fuck under the guise of forced marriage is somehow supposed to be romantic?

You know, one of the reception traditions in my family (both sides) is that the boys build a trough out of wood and the oldest unmarried girls from both families kick it apart- usually wearing high heels. How that began, I have no idea, but I am sort of curious what the reaction would be if there was a tradition specific to Hermione's family, an odd one, that she wanted to do. Could be funny.

What an excellent story. I love The Call of The Blood, it's fascinating! This is one of the reasons I love reading earlier fanfics, no one knew what was coming and some truly incredible stories sprang up with such amazing plots. Can't wait to see where it all goes!
