I really love this story-great ideas, and you pinpointed Snape perfectly!

Another great chapter! The intensity of the first section was amazing, it made my head feel a little spinny, but as I presume that was how Hermione was feeling, then that was the intention! I'm very interested in how this is going to proceed and how you are going to develop your already strong characters! Update soon!

ooh, loved this chapter. bravo for developing the plot further without spelling it out implicitly. i really enjoyed the dialogue, and the dream sequence at the beginning. though i would recommend prefacing it with a sentence or so that conveys that hermione's dreaming ... at first i wasn't sure if it was a dream, a memory, an overheard conversation, etc. anyhoo, great stuff!

This is interesting so far; I don't think I've seen another Marriage Law challenge response similar to it. It's darker than some of your other fics, but that's one of the things I like about it. )
I'm sad that Ron died, but the idea of him proposing to Hermione to protect her and subsequently being killed is believeable. Even though you said very little about him, it says a lot about his character (a lot of authors would just say that Ron was too busy sleeping around to care, which I absolutely hate-don't know why so many people seem to dislike him).
I hope that the next chapter contains Hermione's response to Snape and Dumbledore's plan. I'm very interested to see how she reacts.
I wish that I could write chapters at the speed that you do (as it is, I can barely read at the pace of your updates ;P).

Thank-you for updating quickly. The beginning of this chapter was a great start. The small pieces of information feed to us through Hermiones dreams was great because we can now understand Hermiones reason for wanting to follow the wrong path and it was short and simple. Not chapters long.
Hermione's reaction to sleeping in Snapes bed is realistic as well after seeing what Hermione's been through, it wouldn't be a big deal. Also Hermione's reaction to Snape catching her listening to his conversation and the way Snape handled it is realistic. I can just picture Snape saying that.
Can't wait to see what happens now. Waiting for the next chapter :)

Impressive. I have read a couple of these or tried to at least. Your's has one of the better beginnings that I have read. Some of them...gah. But I like this one. I seems like it will work well.
