Madame Wormtongue chapter 1 . 10/8 This review is long, long overdue, I know! I recently revisited the Lord Of The Rings films, and was inspired by this very strange couple. So here I am, years later. A deviant little reader, possessed by the notion of these two people coming together in love, and in the flesh. I have grand ideas for M stories in my mind, but I lack the talent to bring them to life. However, you have done it here for me! Thank you! MW |
SuperPaparazzi chapter 1 . 1/15/2013 Wow...the second to last line made me think of her relationship with Aragorn...damn o_o |
TrustNoOneMulder chapter 1 . 8/1/2011 No. Nope, this didn't do it for me. |
Philip Miller chapter 1 . 4/25/2011 Terrific, you managed to turn LOTR into crap. |
Playing Scrabble with Orcs chapter 1 . 5/6/2009 I really liked this. A well written lemon should always make you feel warm and squirmy. This achieves that. Well written and mature! Brava! |
Mad Maudlin Hart chapter 1 . 2/10/2009 Ah, the line is actually "a hunched, tremmelsome, wild thing". |
Madhatter45 chapter 1 . 6/15/2008 ...forever a fan of E/G. |
PLEASEDELETETHISACCOUNTTT chapter 1 . 10/3/2006 Wow, that was HOTT! wheew...heheif only there could've bn more... |
an-angel-in-hell chapter 1 . 3/13/2005 aw, how sad... never really looked at the story this way before... |
spacellamaprincess chapter 1 . 11/20/2004 Oh, so creepy, but also sort of sad. Score one for a not-usually-done POV character. "'Six hours, maybe ten.' It was the time I was to have with her, to convince her of my devotion, my love." ... the sense of plaintive desperation is so clear here. [Comment originally submmitted to the MEFAwards voting, but I just wanted to add it here to let you know how much I enjoyed the story. :) ] |
WithMyRazorAsMyPen chapter 1 . 10/24/2004 That coldhearted bit..women. Poor Grima. |
Angoliel chapter 1 . 10/21/2004 DAMN! That was freakin' awesome! I am so amazed by the way you delved into Grima's personality. Nice work! |
Acharnae chapter 1 . 9/20/2004 ? How come I haven't reviewed this a long time ago? I love the story. Partly because it has some red-hot smut to it, especially the way it slowly builds, with Grima growing bolder and bolder. Partly because of the contrast (at least, as Grima perceives it) between Eowyn at night and during the days. Then of course because I'm a sucker for this type of Grima: lonely, hopelessly in love, and drawn by this love to sell his soul out to Saruman, but unwilling to lower himself to the level of rape. Very good incorporation of the movie scene, too, and that is difficult to do - often the clash between the author's writing and the movie scene is too noticable. The end get's me every time: Grima's (completely suicidal) resolution to risk all and leave the drug aside - I think Eowyn would have either killed him or get someone else to do it. And the unbeknownst prophecy in his curse... nice symmetry there. Okay, I missed Grima's nastier side here, but you just can't have it all. Great writing, thanks! |
not a great fan of eowyns chapter 1 . 4/22/2004 wow you are a really talented writer, the movie and your writing fitted together perfectly, i always knew grima would do something nasty to eowyn, i'm not a fan of hers but what he did was horrific - WRITE MORE FANFICS please! |
Harry Hippie chapter 1 . 3/29/2004 Oh,it fits! It fits so well! The curse, and Aragorn! Wow! Cool! |
