Not exactly Ranma, but I don't really mind to much. Nadesico was an anime that really made fun of anime and anime fans. Ranma's involvement only kicked that joke up a million times. Pairing wise, I'd hope for Ruri, if not a mutli girl pairing. Face it, he deserves it more then ever. As for the why, well I felt Ruri and ranma would get along pretty well. First off, she's rather mature, more so then most the crew, and reasonbly sane, something Ranma always wanted in a girl, not to be crazy. She's intelegent, but not overly creative, more less the opisite of Ranma. Who has endless creativity but not so much book smarts. Then the overall winner of the situation imo, is they've both had rotten child hoods, brought on by other people to try make them the best. Ruri to be a perfect little science officer, and ranma's hell to become the best martial artist. Both lack control in their lives, and both lacked real friends. The age difference is a bit off, she's only like 12-13 I think. But like i said, it's not a huge deal, 3 or 4 years physicaly. And lets face it, Ranma is not going to be speeding of into adult situations any time soon. The idea their relationship can last till she's 18 before they move on to more 'intimate' things isn't to hard to believe. If anyone is really offended by that concept. Other then her, I'd wage any the 3 female pilots would work pretty well, most the other cast have a decent chance. All in all I don't think multi pairing be to far off to establish, especialy if Ruri is the main girl. Growing up lonely, if she can get some more friends out of her co-wive/girlfriends I don't think she'd be to far against it. In fact I wouldn't put it past her to be the one to suggest it. Logical as she is, she just might rationalize sharing him over fighting it wit hthe other girls. Especialy if they have some time to talk about his past. To bad this fic died out already, it had shown some real promise.

Ranma needs to hook up with Inez for some hawt doctor loving action.

I can see her being interested in his curse and wanting to study it while slowly getting to know him and getting closer.

She also wouldn't throw herself at Ranma and scare him away like all his Fiancees.

Needs more Ruri. Because Everything needs more Ruri. Beyond that, an interesting concept. I think you need to pay a bit more attention to Ranma's reactions about the past, and how they play out. With just a bit of work I think that you could turn this into something pretty great.

This is pretty good! Yes, it was always a decent possibility that Akanes cooking would one day be lethal; but at least an even more interesting life resulted out of it for Ranma.

I'm curious to see if you'll give some background on how the others of the cast lived and died, if they had any descendants and so on.
