   amakara chapter 1 . 1/27/2004 ... ... I am. absolutely. in. awe. Not only was the plot completely original and entertaining, but the writing style was fluidly descriptive, the grammar and spelling were right on (I just noticed like, 3 typos... easily fixed if you re-read it), and the story never dragged, even for such a lengthy one-shot! And FINALLY! Someone who shares my exact views on inserting random Japanese dialogue into fanfiction! I mean, of course proper names and the like (such as you mentioned) are fair game, but it sounds rather silly when you've got this great story, nicely chugging along in English like a NORMAL piece of literature and... BAM! you hit some random (and all too often misused, which earns a chuckle) Japanese phrases clogging up the story. I've seen stories with "dictionaries" at the bottom that are longer than the chapter itself! So thank you for giving me the opportunity to (*finally*) read a story where the flow is deliciously uninterrupted. ) Anyway, I have one thing to ask you: would you mind if I listed your story on my recommended reading list on my website? It's not a big deal or anything, since I don't know that anybody ever sees it, but since I'm leaving you a note I might as well ask you. _ So, either leave a comment somewhere on your story or email me or something... | Digibaka chapter 1 . 1/27/2004 I cannot possibly convey to you how amazingly...amazing that was. Yeah, I need a bigger vocabulary. But that was just...perfect. Perfects amounts of fluff, sweetness, and humor. *Sobs* I think I'm gonna die! This is very possible the best fanfiction I've read, and probably the best in the Inuyasha section! *Officially breaks down* O.o...run away... |
