PLEASE update this beautifully written fic! I have thoroughly enjoyed the mournful, yet hopeful tone this story uses to illustrate Buffy's and the Scoobies' life beyond Sunnydale. I've had to settle for re-reading it in recent months and when read in one sitting, it does not move slowly at all! It truly has the feel of a novel waiting to be finished, so when you're able, please know there are those of us who are awaiting the tale to be told... BTW, you've been on my favorites list since this story debuted...

Hey, happy reviewer here, I've long admired your work (I reviewed Chosen) and I'd like to congradulate you on your writng skills-well done!

So I had an 8 hour flight from Florida to Idaho, and I hadn't had the chance to sit down and read this throughly, so I printed it out (the printer went bezerk when I tried to print it out on loose-leaf paper) and read it on the plane. Plane are great places to read and write.

Anyway, here are a few reasons I like this fic:

1)Willow/Kennedy-ship action. It's cool b/c in most fics with their relationship in it, KENNEDY is the one unhappy, and she is the one to break it off. It's cool that Kennedy wants to be with Willow so badly but Will doesn't feel the same way. That is much closer to how it was in season 7. Oh, one thing? I think Ken is older than 18, maybe 20? College-age. When the Potentials talk about being Chosen (the ep with Eve), she mentions being maybe too old for it. Just a hunch.

2) Clique. Don't worry if your storyline is following an age-old clique, it doesn't matter. I love baby stories b/c I have huge maternal instincts and cuz I like the drama rollar coaster of feelings a mother-to-be (or parents-to-be) have to go through to get everyone to accept the child (Giles n Robin probably won't be too happy-am I right?). I also like that you built on up to the hint, instead of just "Buffy had been feeling sick and had been throwing up constantly" its a dead giveaway.

3)Tara. I don't know about you, but her dea6y came as a blow to me (Tara! Why did you have to die!). But its nice that people besides Willow are allowed to grieve for her. And, if you plan to bring Spike and Anya back (please?), bring back Tara too. Nobody does it and that sucks!

4) I love songfics! They tie into the story so well and I can tell they are good songs despite having never heard them. What is 'Company' and 'Call Off the Search'? Being Alive is such a ringer for Spuffy. Kudos! Fully expect me to give you songs and hope you will acually use them. ("Push" by Sarah McLachlan is also a ringer for Spuffy-ship. Check it out)

My whiney sister also picked this up (Brianna, she helped me review Chosen, also printed out) asked if it was by the same author, and tried to read it. I asked her if she liked it and she said it was too slow. Ignore her (she has a short attention span), but if you could try to speed it up that would be great too.

Another exceptional chapter. You most definetly earn your crown as the queen of angst, and thank you for the spuffy, even if the won't be anymore for 14 CHAPTERS! Oh, well I'm sure you'll keep us entertained in the meantime.

Just caught up on this story - and the ones previous to it - and am really enjoying it. You are doing a really good job of balancing the angst with lighter moment - a key to good writing, imho. I like that you've taken, for the Scoobies at least, a darker path post-"Chosen," showing that not everything was going to be easy or happily ever after post-victory. More soon!

Wow! Cleveland in a story? A Buffy story? Slick! Well having grown up here let me enlighten you a bit more...

There are three major cemeteries. Holy Cross in Brook Park (a suburb), and two others, that are much older. One across from Jacobs Feild (Indians Stadium) and another on the older side of town. We have an old house, called Franklin Castle, which is said to be haunted.

Some more popular hangouts are the Fatfish Blue downtown, but The Flats (by Lake Erie) are where more people hang, lots of clubs and restaraunts there. Gund Arena's where most concerts are. We're known for our art museum (which's front yard is a pond) our Natural History museum and our science museum (right across from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and right on Lake Erie).

Strongsville (another suburb) is best know for the Metro parks, where people do most of their excercising, as is Rocky River.
