| Evenstar Elanor chapter 1 . 3/16/2005
Nice.. I liked how you incorporated the book with your own ideas. "paler than the snow that lies untouched for centuries on mountaintops, paler than the purest lily." A description fitting Tolkien; beautiful and perfect for Eowyn.
poor Aragorn.. I love the description of Eowyn's eyes, for without using any dialogue, you capture her emotions perfectly. "He had driven her to the last reach of her despair, which had pursued her until there was nothing left but a shell and a spirit that withered in the dark." poor guy..
Aeneas and Dido DID occur to me while reading the story. Great parallel!
| The Dark Wanderer chapter 1 . 2/4/2004
That was beautiful! I always thought that was the reason Aragorn couldn't call her back. Because he was the one who gave her the final push into despair.
| Trekgirl01 chapter 1 . 2/3/2004
This was beautiful! It was sad, but still beautiful. You did a wonderful job taking the original story and adapting it to the Éowyn/Aragorn situation. I loved it!
