Very interesting. I'm not familiar with these ancient characters, but you portray them quite well. I love that each one sees something different. Great writing, but from you I expect nothing else.

Why hasn't anyone reviewed this wonderful story? This is an excellent depiction of the challenges that go into creating and maintaining a peaceful mortal realm, and the dangers of complacency within. Love the way you bring the generations together. Your portrayal of Hyarmendacil's near despair of his grandson's lack of insight, and the tragic urgency in his advising of his great-grandchild... knowing that he is unable to do more, yet desperately holding on to some hope... Wow.
