Nice story. I personally find Nyc's part in the story quite unbelievable. The fact that she beat Seto Kaiba to the finals is a bi far- fetched. She may be clever and a good duelist, but Kaiba is a genius, has unlimited transport facilities and is an incrediably talented duelist. Even Yugi and Yami being beaten to the finals by her is believable, but not Kaiba.

Also, even I understand that it is not relavent to the plot line, are the pairings for the story azureshipping and polarshipping, or puppyshipping? I may be reading into it too much, but I see a lot more less obvious points pointing towards Seto x Joey, compared to the occasional reference to the sort of boyfriend and girlfriend. Could you please clarify this for me?

One last message, Joey is fantastic in this story, he's really in character. Good job!

I counted 17 duelists. So someone made a mistake when they said 16 duelists. See-Nyc, Callie, Rina, Avril and Evien equals 5. Espa Roba, Weevil Underwood, Rex Raptor, Mai, Seto, Joey, Marik, Malik, Yami, Yugi, Ryou, and Bakura equals 12. 12 plus 5 equals 17. Which is it-16 or 17 duelists?

Hi! I really liked this chapter, too. Rex seemed pretty in-character, considering he went through Weevil's deck last chapter. Rex doesn't like to lose, but I don't think he'd stoop as to look through his opponents deck! But, it's your story, so you can do whatever you want with 'im, I s'pose. And Kaiba seems to have softend quite a bit. But, like I just said... Anyways, I enjoyed reading this, and I can hardly wait for the next chapter.
