| Guest chapter 3 . 12/15/2012
I'll have to say I am enjoying your version of Xanth even better than I have Piers'. While his has a tendency toward repetition, your's actually seems to have a plot. Thank you for your creative efforts!

Forgot to mention last review: I liked your self-insert. Very crafty. ;) And Vader's talent is cool.

Wow. I had thought that this was too frivolous at first, but I'm seeing definite plot points here now. Particularly the Demon bet. I like the Demon F(O/R)CE Idea: very creative. This is the first Xanth crossover I've seen, and I think you've done that very well.
| V0id Drag0n chapter 6 . 3/6/2009
That George Bush is hilarious.
| Miriam1 chapter 2 . 2/11/2009
It is a pity that Luke is so depressed, but it is completely understandable.
It is also nice to know that he is a fun-loving free spirit. He may not have suspended his disbelief, but he is enjoying the game.
This is fun. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

This is a creative cross over. It is one I never would have envisioned. Ever.
But now that I found it, I am very curious to see what you do with this.
Xanth and Star Wars. Hmm.
I look forward to the next chapter.
| BlackRoseFire chapter 21 . 11/4/2008

I must say that this story left me breathless (well, figuratively speaking).
I did not plan on reading it. Then again, I doubt anyone could imagine such a crazy cross-over could exist, let alone go looking for it. In fact I was looking for some SW crossover with pretty much any other fandom, and when I saw your story, I thought "no way !". Still, the idea looked interesting, and it was fairly long, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm quite happy that I did. I would never have thought that such a crossover could actually make a good story, but so help me, you managed it. I am most definitely impressed !
I think you truly managed to catch the spirit of the Xanth books. The puns, the humour, everything is there. The George Bush was perhaps not the most refined amongst your puns, but nonetheless it was my favourite (I would so love to have such a bush in my garden ! Well, if I had a garden, that is.) Vader's characterization is actually believable, no matter how strange it feels to admit it. Luke felt a little more childish than I'd have thought, but that's not really out of character. I tend to think of him mostly as he is in Return of the Jedi, but in Bespin he was much less mature (suffice to see how he speaks with Yoda, though I must admit Yoda can be very infuriating. The little green bugger.)
But most of all, the values you tackle through the interaction between all of the characters are very enticing, and touching. Vader's genuine ability to feel love, for one. Luke's ability to forgive, too... And I so loved the final, with Piett and Koho - that was so cute ! Even if "cute" and a reference to Vader in the same sentence aren't really supposed to go together.
What more... well, the characters were all likeable (villains not included), the trials they had to go through impressively imaginative (the imp village was great !), and once I started reading, I couldn't stop. (Though I probably should have, considering what time it is).
Thanks for writing !

This is the sort of crossover I never expected to see approached seriously, if 'seriously' canbe used in conjunction with the Land of Xanth. Nevertheless, this is more than simply a piece of crack!fic; well done!
| Tharl chapter 20 . 3/14/2008
That was hysterical and amazing and so fantastic. It simply made my day. I loved every bit of it. A wonderful weaving of two completely separate realms. I tip my hat to you.
