Wow. Just wow. I have read my fair share SasuNaru/NaruSasu fics, but this one was just so brilliant. I have no words to describe how much emotion I felt while reading this. I think you really captured something that gets lost a lot of times in other fics, and that's the innocence between Sasuke and Naruto. Yes, sure, we have Naruto: the crazy, outgoing, and energetic boy, and then Sasuke: the brooding, anti-social, and over-emotional guy, and when you put them together of course there's going to be that heated tension and they're going to scream and yell at one another because they irk each others nerves...But what's a Yin and a Yang without each other? That's what you were able to capture (at least to me!); the fact that even though they argue and fight and hurt each other, they still understand each other the most and when it comes down to the things that really and truly matter, neither will turn their backs on one another. I can't say that for Pt.2, but you definitely see this a lot in Pt. 1. You implemented both sides to their relationship and I just really can't tell you how much I loved this.
And my, how I loved how descriptive you were! I need a tissue to wipe my eyes because DAMN, you really got me at some parts. I know this was written back in '04, but I really REALLY hope you've kept writing.
