Now I am crying! I love your story. It's definitely a different, fitting and well thought out explanation why Salazar had the Chamber and why he vanished so often. And like that poor Salazar turned into the villain after a few hundred years... and no one will ever know the truth...
Thanks for sharing.

Another brilliant story. I love the relationship between the Founders, and the last chapter and epilogue were really sad.
Brilliant piece, well done :)

Many stories have caused me to laugh out loud but very few have ever moved me to tears. This is one of them. Wow. Specifically the scene of putting the sword into the hat and then the conversation afterward was very powerful. I enjoyed the whole story, but this, just ... Wow. Thank you for writing.
| Number Six-Sixtysix chapter 13 . 12/1/2009
This is an absolutely amazing story. Truly masterful. And also the first fanfic I have ever read that does not feature any of the main characters (Or indeed, any characters who appear within the story). Bravo. I think J.K herself would have been proud to write this.
| jstormlala chapter 13 . 10/5/2009
so this was a really good fic, I enjoyed reading and thank you for writing it.
It was refreshing to see Slytherin in a good light, and I who love the Slytherins as well as the Founders, am overjoyed to have this fic.

Aw... Sharessa's so cute!
| verity candor chapter 5 . 5/11/2009
I love tThe dynamic betwen the four of them is great (especially between Helga and Salazar - they're so SQUISHY!) and the writing is splendid as always
| verity candor chapter 2 . 5/11/2009
E... ouch. Poor fellow. The werewolf scene was written really well! I like how you captured the wolf's emotions.
| verity candor chapter 1 . 5/11/2009
Oh, really interesting idea! But then, you do tend to have rather good ideas...
| LewiG chapter 13 . 10/22/2007
Sad! But I really liked you take on that story.
| Flashyfirebird chapter 13 . 5/14/2006
Oh my goodness! This is so sad! I loved your take on the whole story, however. Such a good idea to have that use for the chamber and then to make rumors twist it so much in the end. Poor Salazar. And it's Godric's fault he has a statue that looks like a monkey in his chamber...
| TangosKittie chapter 13 . 2/6/2006
This story has the honor of being one of a few that made me actually cry.
The way you wrote the Founders, they became people I knew - friends. Few authors make them three-dimensional people, instead tending to rely on the stereotypes of the houses for the entirety of the Founders' personalities. Though Salazar is the fullest character described, all four are individuals, and not just legends. I grew, in the course of 13 chapters, attached to the quartet.
This story made me think. The next morning, I was still figuring out how things fit together, and how the legends had changed. It was ingenious, the way you gave Slytherin his house's characteristic traits without making him evil. I also loved the explanation for the monkey-like face in stone in the Chamber of Secrets.
This story is unique, fascinating, and artfully crafted. I can only hope your other collaborations are close to as good as this is
*scurries off to reccomend story*
| Artemis Dea Vita chapter 13 . 4/3/2005
Wow. That's really amazing, I must say... It's one of the best founder-fics I've ever read, and most definatly at the top of overall Harry Potter fics.
| Dark Angel31 chapter 13 . 11/16/2004
omg...this story...*squeaks*...no words...
(yes that is a good thing)
| moirariordan chapter 13 . 8/12/2004
