This was the best Zim fic I ever read back when I first saw it, and it still is now. I know old projects are difficult to revisit, but if you ever feel the urge to return to this story, please, please do.

This whole thing sound interesting, and as ever you've managed to include original characters in a way that doesn't rub me the wrong way. You can thank your writing skills for that. I've also found the occasional rare typo, just so you're aware.

I hope you do get back to this someday; I've really enjoyed it thus far. All of this creative talent, and in the Navy too. I respect you for that.

This was a great chapter! For stories to be good, they don't have to have action all of the time. In fact, I prefer stories which delve deeply into motivation and philosophy like you do.

Wow. This chapter was massively intense, and as always, well written! Seeing it from both points of view was a great tool to use to bring it all across.

This story is kicking as much ass as ever. And Vic is saved from Mary-Suedom through your skilled writing. Sometimes that's less of a matter of what the character says/does, and more of the words used to bring it all across...

This story is astounding. It hearkens back to the in-depth Science Fiction that I read as a kid. Putting that together with the whole psychological/survival aspect, and the IZ fandom, and it means that I'm enjoying the hell out of this fic.

I'm placing this here, rather than as a review of Quantum Castaways, because I haven't read said story yet. It was Going On that showed me that Fanfiction didn't have to mean awful writing, it (along with the promise of what The Witch's Knight might have been) that kept me checking back on your profile secretly hoping to see some life in these old stories. I can't possibly expect you to dig into old work like that, I know the writing process doesn't work that way, nor does the relationship between reader and author.

Regardless, welcome back, it's a pleasure to see you putting fresh work up. I look forward to reading it. I hate the thought of pressuring any author ... I just want to encourage and express joy at seeing a favorite author's return.

I realize the chances of you finishing this story are slim to none, but I'd like you to know that it is by far my favorite Zim fic on this entire site. It's been what, four years since I last read this? But I still remember it and I still wish to see the rest.

Judging by your author's comments, you don't think very highly of your writing, but the simple fact is that you're very good. And, perhaps more importantly, the story is extremely compelling. I wouldn't still be a fan of your work after all this time if it wasn't.

So, I don't know. Maybe I'll check back in another four years to see if you have written anything new.

I love how you were able to put it all together so amazingly, like each chapter is a bone, every author's note a joint, all fitting so exactly with one another. Are you? Do you still see the reviews? It's clear that despite the years that have passed, people are still reading your work.

You probably do not remember me, but I've been a fan a very long time. Whenever someone makes a crack about how fanfiction writers are hacks, or that fanfiction is silly. I think about what an amazing Writer you are. Not just this story, but in general, you are a fantastic writer and every story I've read by you has been a joy to read.

So here I am, having just buzzed through "Going on" For the third time (At least) and I find that while many of the stories I used to enjoy were simply due to my own inexperience as a writer, your stories have remained as solid as the first day I read them. Yes now I spot the occasional grammar error or missed punctuation mark. But the characters, the story, the set up and the delivery of each and every chapter is as strong as I remember it, each time I come to read one of these.

Silly of me to write such a long review to an author who may well be dead. I realize this fact, make no mistake. But honestly, I've never properly thanked you for all the wonderful entertainment you have given me and the rest of your fans. We all bug you about updating speed and how we want more. But I want to sincerely thank you for making all the stories you have, every chapter, even though they are all incomplete stories, they are still fantastic and well told. They stand as a testament to how enjoyable fanfiction can be when handled by someone with skill, humor, and imagination.

I'm not the only one asking for you to return, I know that. I'm not even really asking you for another chapter right now. I'd just really like to know if you're still out there, still reading the reviews, still pondering if you should sit down at the keyboard sometime and pick up this old hobby again.

I hope you're still alive, I hope you read this, and I really hope you take a moment out of your day to send a quick "Yo, I ain't dead" to me to let me know that while you haven't been writing in a long time, at least someday there may be a conclusion to your fantastic stories.
