Shadow, I had mean, evil, second and third and fourth grade teachers...grade school sucked. I was afraid of all of them, very shy, too scared to tell my mama, it was horrible. And I was bullied by kids for being fat on top of all that. I agree, school sucked!

Then when Harry touched his face to feel the bruise I was like, wait how did he touch the bruise with the mask on? ugh, stupid pandemic me :) 3

There is nothing cheesy about trying to portray an adult survivor of child abuse try desperately to love their own child to the fullest. The humility and sorrow for his failure at the end was very real. Abuse is an indelible language written on the bones of survivors, and an attempt at treating this with dignity and grace is a gift.

I agree. I was sitting at my desk reading this and wanting to knock myself out at the thought of Harry going to the DOM. When I read the ACTUAL book, I was shouting at him the entire time. I knew what was going to happen, and I’m glad you didn’t go the same way.

AHHHHHH THIS IS SO EXCITING

I know that this is an old story, I just found it, but technically he would never be able to go back to his Uncle anyway because there is not 'blood relationship'. The only reason that Harry was with his Aunt and Uncle was because of his mothers sacrifice, and the blood relationship he has with his Aunt.

I have found a few other inconsistencies with this story in relation to what is written in the books 1-4, mostly on the fact that all classes are with his year mates from Griffindor for the core classes that started in year 1, and will continue through at least year 5 (O.W.L.s) with only the electives started in year 3 being the classes that not everyone takes.

My guidance teacher made my life hell all the way through high school. She was prejudiced against a special needs kid... in her worthless opinion special needs kids 1 weren't worth educating and 2 didn't belong in mainstream. The worst thing about that bitch was that she forced my single parent mother to go on a choir trip with me like I was some sort of overgrown toddler. I settled her teakettle that's for sure! I told her under no uncertain terms that I would put her in THE SHARPSHOOTER if she didn't deal with the bullying...
