| WOW chapter 1 . 6/22/2017
I love and admire this story.
So many great, clever and almost poetic lines. Most favorite: Her pleasure is loud, but her misery is silent.
One can feel with Spock, and feel with Christine. To be able to understand and feel with both sides is rarely accomplished. Kudos for this.
The dark parts and the longing are so intense I am actually tensing while reading. Amazing!
And the sweet parts in between the bitter parts: A pleasure.
To sum this up: The characters: Top! Deep, in-character and understandable.
The plot: Plausible, nothing unnecessary and engaging
The writing style: Loved it
Keep on writing those two together!

I totally love this. You have a most amazing way of pulling out the emotional stops, yet keeping Spock in character.

Relationship and chess? It's cliche, but worked here.

Ooh, Spock was co-o-o-ld! And then he warmed up so that was good.
This is a wonderful follow-up to the Falling Bodies fic! You have a way with angst and you also have a great characterization of Spock, so those things mixed together creates a beautiful piece of writing.
